Luxurious, quiet, detached villa. Two bathrooms, each with a toilet, a bathtub with two showers, and a separate toilet. A lush garden surrounds the villa, featuring a large dining table and two lounge chairs for relaxation. Parking is available on the private property.

Beautiful and peaceful location.

A five-minute walk leads to the forest, from where you can easily access the dunes. The beach is a 20-minute bike ride away. The villa is close to the sea, dunes, and forest. The charming center of Bergen is a 15-minute walk.

The villa features:

Three bedrooms (one with a single bed and one with a double bed) and a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, double shower, toilet, and twin beds.

A second bathroom has a double sink, toilet, and shower.

Two washing machines and dryers are also available.

The living room features a large, open-plan kitchen with a four-ring induction cooktop, (steam) oven, combination microwave, a large refrigerator, and a separate freezer. This fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need for cooking and baking. The living room also has an open fireplace.

Everything is provided, from a hairdryer and bed linens to kitchen towels and cooking utensils.

Garden
If you like, you can enjoy breakfast in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening in the private, green garden surrounding the villa (weather permitting).

Surroundings
Relax in the beautiful surroundings of Bergen. The beach and Alkmaar are easily accessible by bicycle. In just a few minutes, you can walk into the forest and enjoy a beautiful view of the dunes. Cross the roads—you'll still be immersed in nature—and jog directly to the sea.

Or, enjoy a wonderful yoga session on the beach, let your children take surfing lessons, or visit the art market.

The center of Bergen is just a 15-minute walk away, where you can easily spend the afternoon shopping in the lovely stores (open on Sundays) or enjoying a meal in one of the many restaurants.

CineBergen, the picturesque Bergen cinema nestled among the trees, offers quality films just a ten-minute walk away. In the Netherlands, it's common to see foreign films subtitled (rather than dubbed).

You can easily combine your stay with a visit to Amsterdam (50 minutes by car or 45 minutes by train from Alkmaar Central Station). Or take a day trip to the island of Texel.

Rentals are only available weekly, from Saturday to Saturday.

This is a very nice, modern house, with a vacation house in the back. There are plenty of towels. The outdoor eating space is nice, as is the roofed seating area at the back.We did have some important issues. We have had comparably large properties in Bergen aan Zee and Egmont aan Zee in the last three years.1. To start with the small things: all three of those properties had at least salt and pepper, often also oil and vinegar, etc., presumably from previous guests. On the positive side, there were some coffee capsules. Kitchen scissors and teapot were provided when we asked.2. The house is not the 10 minutes walk to the centre of Bergen as claimed on the website - more like double that!3. The advertised trampoline is also no longer there - a big disappointment as we had a 4-year-old in tow.4. In the kitchen, the main thing lacking was a toaster. The other is instructions for the appliances. Only after a while die we realize that one of the two ovens doubled as a microwave, which we had sorely missed - but we couldn't figure out how to operate it. The dishwasher, washers and dryer were more intuitive,5. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with no door. Much of it is taken up with an oversized bathtub, leaving a small space for other use. The double shower is a nice touch.6. There was no reading lamp in the single room in the main house. Most bedrooms had no chair or desk.Taken together, the drawbacks mean that we won't be booking this house again.

Ein toller Ort für einen wundervollen Familienurlaub

Wir haben die Zeit in Bergen mal wieder sehr genossen! Es war mit Sicherheit unser 10. Familienurlaub in Bergen, dieses Haus haben wir bis jetzt am meisten geschätzt! Es hat einen tollen Garten, sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Kinderzimmer und ist sehr sauber.

Tolles Haus mit kleinem wildwüchsigem Gärtchen in ruhiger Ortsrandlage von Bergen binnen Neue, moderne, sehr geschmackvolle und durchweg schöne und stimmige Einrichtung. Ausreichende Küchenutensilien. Sauber und gepflegt. Grosse Terrasse mit Wohn- und Essbereich, Sonnen- und Schattenplätzen. Kinderspielgerät im Vorgarten. Parkplatz am Haus und Carport zum Unterstellen der Fahrräder. Sehr freundliche, angenehme und unkomplizierte Kommunikation. Ca. Ein Kilometer bis zum Zentrum, mit allen Geschäften des täglichen Bedarfs, vielen Restaurants und schönen Shoppingmöglichkeiten, und fünfundzwanzig Minuten per Fahrrad vom Meer bzw. Alkmaar, als nächtgrösserer Stadt, entfernt. In der Nähe eines tollen Dünengebietes mit tollen Rad-, Wander- und Reitwegen gelegen. Unweit mit dem Auto oder öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nach Haarlem und Amsterdam. Wir haben die großzügigen Räumlichkeiten sehr genossen. Eine etwas frühere Anreisemöglichkeit als zwischen 16 bis 18 Uhr und ein zweiter Satz Handtücher pro Person bei vierzehn Tagen Aufenthalt wäre angenehm gewesen. Mit den vorhandenen zwei Waschmaschinen liess sich das letztere kleine Problem selbst lösen.
