The Bright Side Inn is uniquely located on the grounds of Bright Side Youth Ranch. Only a 30 minute drive from Charlotte, NC, this renovated travel trailer is nestled on the 15 beautiful acres of Bright Side Youth Ranch where the an amazing herd of horses help hurting kids. The location is private, peaceful and convenient.

The Space
Features include a queen size bed with 2 bunk beds with comfortable bedding and plenty of light.

The living area includes a cooktop, microwave, refrigerator/freezer and sofa.

Amenities include linens, dishes, coffee, tea and treats for the horses. Enjoy a walk around the pond, meet the horses and warm up next to an evening fire.

Had a month stay over in York visiting family during November. Found this lovely spot out in the country. Devin and Tia were great hosts, communication was always prompt. The house behind my rental had Christmas lights all aglow. The horses were great to visit. I had the pleasure of participating in one of their ranch hand days helping around the ranch. Definitely worth the stay. Thanks Devin and Tia. Be blessed!

Not good

We had no remote to the TV. We had no toilet paper. The air conditioner could not keep up with the heat. We have flies in the room. We had roaches in the room we had mold in the corners of the shower. We had bad water pressure. Owner said he was gonna bring his remote a day before. I told him don’t worry about it could’ve been so much better than what it was. and refrigerator worked off and on. The area was beautiful though Could’ve asked for a refund, but I’m not we all gotta eat. I just hope this is productive.

Great stay on the farm

Our family stayed for one night at this property on our spring break road trip. It was great. The space had everything we needed, and the farm was beautiful. Our kids were delighted by the bunk beds and loved watching the small herd of goats walking down the road in front of the camper in the morning. Yes, the bathroom was small, but not smaller than you'd expect for a camper. Would definitely stay again.

Touch of Heaven

Peaceful retreat

I was traveling with my daughter to celebrate her birthday. We always look for unique, quiet places to stay. This fit the bill perfectly! Quiet, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed to night sky and even saw a shooting star. We would definitely stay again.

Cute little stay not far from Charlotte

Our hosts provided a very cute updated trailer that met all of our needs. The horses and cats on property were adorable and the area is safe and quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely stay again if our plans allow.

The perfect stay

This is our second time staying. We come in from Ireland to visit family and appreciate having a quiet place to retreat to at the end of the day. We will be back next year. ☺️

Perfect

The check in was so simple. The place was so cute and clean. We were visiting family and just needed a place to stay nearby so it was perfect. We will definitely stay again next time we are in town.

Lovely

The property and area is very nice, peaceful and the camper was very clean and stocked with everything you need. Good communication from the owner. However, we had to cut short our stay due to the size of the camper. The owner did let me know before the trip that the bunk beds are on the smaller size (since we had 2 older teens with us) but the camper in general was too small for all four of us. It is appropriate for 1 or 2 people though and everything else was good!

Peaceful, cozy getaway!

My husband and I so enjoyed our second stay at Bright Side Inn! The setting is peaceful and beautiful, the RV is well-appointed and cozy. I loved seeing the horses and their wonderful cat, too. We hope to stay there again next year while we attend an annual tournament. Devin has always been quick to respond and very helpful. I highly recommend Bright Side Inn!

Beautiful view for pictures

Very relaxing place. Beautiful view to take pictures with the horses and the two cats. Great for kids bc they can feed the horses. My 7 year old feed the horses and I took the pictures for my daughter Wynter. I will rent again with the Bright Inn. I highly recommend it.

Nice place in a good area

Nicely furnished trailer in a nice location. It is quiet and private if you are looking for a country get away. It's only 1/2 hour from Charlotte, NC. The owners are great and the horses were a nice addition since I left my own at home.

Perfect stay in a cute and cozy RV!

My husband and I had the best weekend stay in this cozy RV! It was conveniently located just a twenty minute pleasant drive from Winthrop, where we were attending a tournament. This was such an oasis for us to come home to at the end of a busy day. Meeting the horses (and precious cat!) and soaking in the beauty of the surroundings while sitting on the swing by the pond were highlights of our trip. The RV had inviting decor, was well appointed, and was very comfortable. My husband and I loved the experience of staying in this RV, as we hope to one day have our own. The owners provided great information and were very accommodating and responsive. We would love to stay there again!
