My dog and I had a wonderful stay! The property is absolutely beautiful, and I really appreciated how thoughtfully everything is set up. There’s so much space to explore, especially the trails, and it was such a great place to relax and enjoy some time with my dog.You can really tell how much thought and care went into creating the property and making it a comfortable, welcoming place to stay. Meghan and Richard were incredibly accommodating and made everything easy from start to finish.I’d definitely love to come back and stay again, and I’d love to try the Glamping Bungalow next time!Thank you again for such a great stay. Highly recommend!

Very cozy and comfortable place to stay. Clean and updated. The bed was very comfortable and I didn’t even need to bust out my own pillow which says alot. Perfect for our family of 3 for a quick layover on our drive up the coast.

This was a birthda present from my daughter. She invited two of my closest friends to spend a night with me. We absolutely enjoyed the peace and serenity of the location. There was lots of space for four of us. We were able to move around comfortably with out feeling crowded. I loved the color of the room itself. It was a colorful pastel in the blue family. The bathroom was large and roomy. The beds were enough for five people and bedding was plentiful. I would have preferred a two burner stove too, for cooking meals but overall it's a great place to stay. The host responds quickly and it is definitely a beautiful place to stay!

Nice cozy stay!

The hosts were very warm and welcoming, and the suite was very nice. So much nicer and more relaxing than a hotel room. Unfortunately our schedule did not leave time to explore the nature trails, but it was a nice peaceful setting.

Lovely place - secluded and private

My husband and I needed a place to stay the night after dinner at Drift on Lake Wylie and we came across Meghan’s place. This suite was big enough for the two of us. It was very clean and the host provided everything needed plus some. The king size bed and pillows were wonderful! I do recommend this place.

Weekend getaway

We came down for the weekend to watch our son and his band perform. Meghan’s Place was the perfect retreat. You wouldn’t know it was attached to a home as it was quiet and serene. We brought our dog and he loved running around the beautiful woods. It checked all the boxes for us and we would definitely book it again.

Celebrate being an official teenager

I needed a place for a surprise sleepover for my 13 year old daughter. This was perfect. We especially loved the trails we got to walk through. The owner was very polite. And even though the suite was part of the main house it felt like we were in our separate place.

We booked Meghan’s Place at the last minute…and we are glad that we did. The location was just minutes away from everything. The towns and communities nearby were amazing! We were very impressed with the cleanliness, the beautiful landscape surroundings and most importantly how safe and friendly it was getting around. The apartment was everything Meghan stated on her VRBO listing. Very tastefully planned! The bed was very comfortable and the entire room very clean. When we had a chance to get away we enjoyed the peace and tranquility of her wooded area in her property. Very peaceful. We could stay out there all day. We are outdoors people and love to hike on wooded trails with our puppy Brooke. And this property brought the beautiful outdoors to our door step. Meghan thank you for allowing us to stay 3 nights here. We loved your property and would love to come back to visit again in the late fall. We managed to hike one of the trails in a nearby natural preserve park just minutes away but were not able to do the others because of family matters. But next time we will experience the other trails the Carolinas have to offer near your area.

Surprise lockout

We found the location site and outside view to be just as we had hoped. Only HUGE problem was that we could not gain access with the code we were given. We were not able to reach the owner with the number given and had to drive out of area for cell service to leave a message with owner. Did not hear from the owner at all. We reached out to VRBO who attempted to contact the owner and could not reach them. VRBO asked us to wait an hour for hopeful contact or they would make every effort to find us another VRBO in this area. When owner did not return our call we drove back to the rental facility and found 2 cars in driveway that were not there before. When I knocked on the main house door there was a lady who identified as not being the owner but she was just there and immediately jumped through hoops to help us get access. It turns out the code box battery went bad, wasn't working, so she gave us a key to use for next 4 days. It took about an hour for this all to work out and then we rushed to the venue. Not an ideal experience but in the end it came together.

Great location - small small issues.

What a great location. The apartment is really cozy. There were some small cleanliness issues I. Try bathroom (body wash dispenser needed cleaned). The listing said checkout was at 11am everything in that apartment said 10am. That made for a more rushed morning than planned on our final day. On the amazing side, the location is great. Targa Cay, Rock Hill, and south Charlotte have awesome restaurants. The apartment is 20 or so minutes away. The hosts were responsive to our immediate needs. We would rent again.

Absolutely loved staying here. Meghan was so clear with check-in instructions and was very responsive before, during, and after our stay. The place was very clean upon arrival, the bed is SO comfortable and we loved having the coffee to wake up to each morning. Highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back!
