Hale Hui Kai is an oceanfront property on Keawakapu Beach. This gardenview condo is on the second floor of the south side of the building ...about 60 steps along the pathway leads to the gem of south Maui, Keawakapu Beach!

Keawakapu Beach, located on the south shore of Maui, Hawaii, is known for its stunning natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere. This picturesque beach is a favorite spot for locals and return visitors and features soft golden sand, clear waters, and lush greenery surrounding the area. It's a great spot for families to swim, snorkel, and sunbathe, and watch the sun set at the end of the day.

Enjoy your treasured time in Maui from the serene comfort of this unique apartment, carefully crafted with mixed textures of wood, cork, and bamboo. Featuring arched entryways; natural shutters in the style of old Hawaii, offering a fully equipped open kitchen which transitions into a spacious and tranquil dining /living area.

Each bedroom has one king size bed and a high efficiency AC unit. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa can accommodate two guests. Also featured are two uniquely tiled bathrooms, 1 with a bath tub and the other with a walk in shower. At this beachfront property we provide beach towels, beach chairs, and a beach cooler. We suggest renting beach toys (such as a beach umbrella, snorkel gear, paddle boards, boogie boards, etc) from one of the many rental companies on Maui.

Hale Hui Kai is a beloved location among first time visitors and repeat guests. There is a small shared oceanfront pool next to the common area covered lanai, which is equipped with comfortable lounge space for guests to enjoy when you need a break from the Maui sun. On each floor of the property, is a pay-to-use laundry room each with two washers and two dryers.

Bello Realty, Inc. has been managing vacation rentals on Maui since the 1980's and is the premier on site management office at Hale Hui Kai. Our staff is available to assist you during your visit with any questions you may have as well as local recommendations and booking a return visit!

Fantastic stay!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The air conditioning worked beautifully; the location right on the sandy beach was fantastic both for daytime playing/swimming/snorkeling and sunset family beach walks; great proximity to other fun activities and destinations. There is no real view from the unit which is clear from the listing, but there are tables and chairs in the common area near the pool with a great view - we brought dinner down there several nights for a sunset dinner, truly didn't mind the lack of view from the unit at all. Beds were so comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, and there was a good stock of beach supplies - chairs, coolers, umbrellas, towels and inflatables. Building management was very respectful and helpful the little bit that we interacted with them.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Always very easy for booking and check in. We have stayed at this property 6-8 times over the years. Every unit is clean and orderly. 204 was lacking basic needs like table salt and pepper.

Just ok

It was okay - but not great. - On the plus: it was right on the beach, which is the main reason we chose it as we had people who were mobility challenged in our group. That did make it easy and the beach was lovely. - Well stocked kitchen made it comfortable - It’s an ok location otherwise, not very close to shops or restaurants - you would need to drive or walk a mile and a half. - The place itself was stuffy - too cluttered, no view (just looking at a wall) felt pretty claustrophobic, and the air was kinda damp and smelled a bit mildewy. The building is old and worn out. We also didn’t have internet and phone reception was terrible there. Sad to not have a nice view at all (looking at a wall unless you crane your neck) - Communication was pretty bad - they made check in quite stressful after multiple attempts at reaching out- - Oh, and they didn’t even provide shampoo and conditioner? And very few towels. The laundry machine is ancient and communal and you have to pay for it. Not great when you’re traveling with a baby. But price was fair and being on beach really was great

Property on ight on the beach, walkable to restaurants and beaches. We'll stocked and in very good condition. Would stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a good stay in Apt#204. However the ceiling fan in the living room did not work at all. In the master bath shower, water from the water pressure pooled on the bathroom floor. This unit is a bit dated and could use some TLC.. Pillow Guy mattress covers made the mattresses too soft.
