Hale Hui Kai is an oceanfront property, this third floor garden view condo is just steps away from the gem of south Maui, Keawakapu Beach!

Keawakapu Beach, located on the south shore of Maui, Hawaii, is known for its stunning natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere. This picturesque beach is a favorite spot for locals and return visitors and features soft golden sand, clear waters, and lush greenery surrounding the area. It's a great spot for families to swim, snorkel, and sunbathe, and watch the sun set at the end of the day.

Spacious vaulted ceiling in master King bedroom with views of sun rise. Guest bedroom also has a King size bed, unit sleeps 4 people. Two full baths travertine tile through-out. High end appliances in kitchen with desk in corner capturing the ocean view. Central air conditioning through out utilizing insulated windows inside the louvers to keep this unit quiet.

At this beachfront property we provide beach towels, beach chairs, and a beach cooler. We suggest renting beach toys (such as a beach umbrella, snorkel gear, paddle boards, boogie boards, etc) from one of the many rental companies on Maui.

Hale Hui Kai is a beloved location among first time visitors and repeat guests. There is a small shared oceanfront pool next to the common area covered lanai, which is equipped with comfortable lounge space for guests to enjoy when you need a break from the Maui sun. On each floor of the property, is a pay-to-use laundry room each with two washers and two dryers.

Bello Realty, Inc. has been managing vacation rentals on Maui since the 1980's and is the premier on site management office at Hale Hui Kai. Our staff is available to assist you during your visit with any questions you may have as well as local recommendations and booking a return visit!

We love to do just that during our travels as probably half our cooking on these types of trips. Otherwise, great spot! We love kehei in general as some of the best beaches, not as touristy as Lahina and Wailea.

Nice vacation, older condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming this complex for 15 yrs. Most of the units are great. Unit 302 is just old. From the kitchen, with old, mismatched plates, glasses, utensils, kitchen table and chairs that are 20yrs old, the TV is small, should be at least a smart TV, pillows that should have been replaced years ago, etc, etc, etc. Just not worth the money. Sorry.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at Hale Hui Kai for going on 15 years now. Unit #302 is probably our favorite...and we have been in 4-5 other units over the years. In comparison to other units, the amenities we enjoy in #302 are AC, granite counters/island, new living room furniture, king beds, and full tiled/glass standing showers. It may not have a smart TV, however, while in HA, we’re on the beach or out on an activity exploring. The ocean view is not the greatest from this unit, however, we just go down to the lanai or beach. Oh, and watching the sunset every evening from the lanai or lawn is one of our high points at Hale Hui Kai! You can’t go wrong with this unit. Bryce, as always, was a complete pleasure to work with. I had a tricky schedule this year and the rest of the Bello Realty team I worked with, Jessica & Jason, were also very understanding and accommodating...I appreciated that.

Good location, could use some updates and repairs.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was in great location in Maui. Access to beach was quick with pool adjacent to beach. Property needs to repair steps from pool area to beach as it needs repaired and could be difficult for young or old visitors. Condo itself needed some updates / repairs. Sliding glass door does not lock. Both doors locks need replaced or adjusted. Shower floor in bathroom attached to master bedroom needed cleaned or replaced. Hard water marks discolored floor. Dishwasher area problem when open found roaches several times. Lack of silverware in unit, 4 spoons., no knives to cut produce or other items. Need to add dishes as old and mismatched.

The kitchen was somewhat sparse in terms of cooking equipment but we managed. We could not figure out how to work the remotes for the AC. While comfy I would not book this apartment again.

Cons: Laundry! no change machine to get quarters. machine does take money via an app but will charge you .25 cents to load money.Not enough towels. only 4 beach towels for a week long stay = gross so you HAVE To do laundry.other than that I would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Air conditioning is a major plus, can't do Hawaii without it and this place had central air con. This is a major plus for this place, not all condos in this unit have them. Being next to the beach was the second major plus to this place, so convenient. The unit had two comfortable king size beds and two bathrooms. There were some beach chairs, a cooler, one snorkel mask, nice furniture and a beach umbrella. We would definitely stay here again. Jason with Bello Realty was very quick to respond to any questions or problems we had. This was another major plus for this place. He even had a conversation time when he served coffee and donuts and answered any questions about Hawaii, restaurants, etc..This unit is on the top floor which is also a major plus, not having someone above you.The beach here is amazing. It is about 1/2 a mile long and is mostly homes or small condos so not crowded when we were there (mid September). One thing we didn't know about was the trade winds which came in the afternoons so spend your time on the beach in the mornings.The kitchen is equipped with adequate dishes, glasses, cutlery, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal but don't plan on any major cooking. the pots and pans are old, the cutting knives dull and the can opener rusted. But it is fine for breakfast and lunch and then we ate out each evening. This unit is also next to the parking lot/road but it wasn't too much of an issue. I woke up at 7 with car doors shutting once or twice. Road noise at night no problem, only once or twice noisy car drove by. But I am a light sleeper and my husband was never bothered. Several mornings, however, people forgot the quiet rule which is until 8 and talked as they waited for the elevator. A sign here would be nice. This unit is next to the elevator and the bedrooms windows face it. Again if you are up by 7 or are not a light sleeper you will be fine.Overall, we highly recommend this unit and would return in a heartbe

Reviewer Comments: Our family came to Maui from 5/29-6/5 to return my deceased mother to be with my father at the Maui Veterans CemeteryI stayed with part of my family in Unit 202 and my son stayed in Unit #302 with his family. We choose this facility as my father in law Lawrence Fargher had a time share there at one time and we stayed with him at times. The Units were clean, property was on the beach and very convenient when having children. The beach was clean as well. The people in the Units were nice. We would stay there again and will recommend to our friends to also stay there. The one thing the property manager should post that no music be played in the sitting area by the pool. My son was told not to play his music which was not allowed in that area but there were no signs stating music should not be played in that area. It did state that the quiet time was from 10pm-8am. Nothing about no noise or music between those times. The washer and dryers should open at 8am and not 8:30am for those who want an early start. The parking spaces are tight manageable Thank you so much for making our stay a great one.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My unit was very clean and very well equipped and of course a great location. It is however showing it's age. The older appliances worked but are probably 20+ years old, similar for some of the funiture. The beds were great and very comfy. Unit was generally pretty quiet with peek a boo ocean views. The only major inconvenience for me was that every cutting knife was as dull as a butter knife you couldn't even slice a papaya. Easily remedied and I'd stay again if it were upgraded in a couple areas.
