Great place and convenient to Batey Zipline

  • 5 of 5

After a series of hotel rooms in PR, it was fantastic to get a chance to spread out and put the kids in their own rooms. The house was clean and ideally located for our trip with Batey Zipline Adventures (they also give a 10% discount on tours for folks who rent this house). The nearby town of Angeles is cute and has everything you need (grocery, pharmacy, gas) and a great bakery (Panaderia Millie) with very low prices. Just down the road are two good pizza places (El Indio was the better of the two) that are family-friendly. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, peaceful

  • 5 of 5

This house is absolutely lovely. It's on a large piece of property and very private. We enjoyed spending time sitting on the porch, listening to nature and reading. Everything about the house was comfortable.

Coqui Haven!

  • 5 of 5

Our group of 4 recently stayed for 2 nights in this beautiful home. It was very clean and well stocked with fans and extra linens and towels. We were out most of the days and didn't spend a lot of time at the house but when we were there it felt welcoming and comfortable. We had a slight issue with the hot water but as soon as I contacted Jorge, he was at our house within 10 minutes and fixed the issue (very minor). He was so helpful with recommendations on where to eat and how to get to the house. Get ready for windy roads to get to this house! It's located at KM 45.6 and has a lot of vegetation near the gated entrance so it can be hard to see at night. If you like the sounds of nature, this house is perfect for you. We had a coqui frog in our window sill the 2nd night we were there. It's nice to take a break from the city and be able to relax in the country. If we ever revisit the area, we'll be sure to stay here again! I highly recommend it!

Schönes geräumiges Haus mit großem Garten, sehr sauber, in einer schönen Lage

  • 5 of 5

Nice house in Utuado

  • 5 of 5

Excellent !!! The house is perfect for a family, nice and clean. It had everything we needed during our stay. We had a wonderful time. It rained one day so the park and farm was all wet and muddy .. however we bought rain boots and we walked all over the farm. We had a blast and the kids loved it !!! Make sure you check the available outdoors activities nearby (we booked with Batey zipline for hiking, cave exploration, ziplining, rappelling and horse back riding. Awesome!!

Owner's Response: It's great to hear that your family had a great time at the property, and even if it was muddy outside because of the recent rains you were able to explore and have fun all around the farm. Thanks for coming to Utuado, we look forward to host you again in the future! Jorge and Denisse, owners

Awesome Area!

  • 4 of 5

We loved the property, the peaceful ambiance and how close we were from all the areas in Puerto Rico.

We pretty much drove 1-1/2 hours to any interesting point in Puerto Rico. We visited almost all Puerto Rico as we were in the center of the island.

We visited beaches, rivers and small towns...we all loved it!

Yes the drive there is interesting, a little scary when it's raining and at night. But being there 10 days just made it easier everyday.

We were able to contact the owners pretty much anytime.

My husband and daughters used the Batey Zipline tours and they were very happy with the experience.

The house is comfortable and clean, but it needed a some dusting as there were spiders, ants and cobwebs on the wall and ceilings.

But we were living with nature so to us was not a big issue. Just dust a couple times and check beds at night.

Other than that is an awesome area to spend your vacations in Puerto Rico!
