Thank you for sharing your thoughtful feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the peaceful setting, the view from the deck, and the warm welcome from our caretaker. We truly appreciate your honesty about the aspects that didn’t meet expectations. We apologize for the photos that showed screens – these were included accidentally and were from when we were communicating with the contractor whom we hired to put in screens. Unfortunately, his work was sub-par and we had to remove them. Regarding not having light, the house has electricity with a full house generator. Both bedrooms are air conditioned, as well as the living area. Regarding access to the river: although there is a gate leading to the river, we deliberately keep this gate locked because the river is connected to a reservoir, which means that at any given time, without warning, the river can be flooded when the reservoir overflows. For this reason, we do not advertise the house as being on the river. It is a safety precaution.
