Fox Pen Cabins Cabin #2 Not friendly for street bikes… Pet-Friendly

As with our first cabin my son and I are putting together cabin #2. This rustic little cabin is nestled in the woods with a nice size outdoor space, a fire pit to relax beside; with a large flower garden for a peaceful feel! An experience in the woods is what we want for you! Be it Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter we are equipped for your stay. This cozy little chalet style cabin has a tiny house kitchen w/ all the amenities. Plenty of storage and a nice clean feel! The main bedroom has a king size bed in it as well as two queen size mattresses in the loft bedrooms w/stairs. The common area is set up for comfort with a tiny house couch, tv and just a nice hang out area… the bathroom has a large shower unit for extra comfort as well as a sink and toilet.. based on a tiny house theme with extra room for moving around inside and out; this little cabin is very quaint!
Front deck w/ ramp as well as a small back porch w/ramp.
There is a picnic table for outdoor dining as well as chairs around the fire pit, a bench in the garden and much yard for moving around. If you have you have trailers or
X-Large trucks; there is a place to park them also!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. We have stayed here before, and will stay here again on our next visit to Eminence. The cabin is very thoughtfully furnished with everything you would need for your stay. The back porch has a beautiful view of the Ozark mountains and tall pine trees. It's my favorite place to to sit . The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is large, the kitchen is fully equipped to cook meals. The air conditioning is cold, with fans for extra circulation in every bedroom. Lane, the host, is very accommodating and answers any questions right away. Very private and peaceful cabin.

The cabin is so cute. The beds were so comfy!! The road was a little scary, but I don’t like heights. lol Over all it was a great experience. Would definitely stay again if I’m ever in the area.

Very Clean and Well Prepared. Very accommodating and responsive hosts. I would recommend this as a place to stay with the two (2) pieces of information in mind. 1) The gravel road in and out has some hills and is slightly rough (but not bad); 2) The place itself has great sleeping and bathroom space but the rest of the space is very small, but efficiently used.

Excellent place to stay in the Ozarks. In the middle of all the things to see… elk, mills, clear water, waterfall. Cabin was perfect with great bed, kitchen and shower.

This cabin was amazing! Very cozy, can house 6 comfortably, had everything you could want for cooking, large fridge, stove and oven. The best part was the covered deck and the beautiful view. So peaceful, lots of birds. The Milky Way was visible on the deck. Aligned perfectly. The owner was very friendly and helpful, answering all of our questions very promptly. Highly recommend this beautiful cabin for a peaceful getaway in nature. We visited Turners Mill, Greers Spring and Boze Mill while in Eminence. All beautiful spots. The Dairy Shack was amazing as always!

This is a cute cabin! It was very clean. Well stocked with all the amenities. Great location for what we needed. Close to town and the river. The host is very accommodating! We will stay again sometime!

I tried something new this year. Rather than camp at the Alley Spring campground with the rest of our big group, I rented a cabin near Eminence.After I made the reservation, I found out it was not in town and was a couple miles northeast of Eminence (location on vrbo map is misleading). After thinking about it for a while, I decided to keep the reservation, mainly because there weren't a lot of options for cabins closer to Alley Spring anyway. I was pleased with the cabin for what I mainly used it for (sleeping). It was certainly clean, secluded and mostly quiet. Only drawbacks were the 2 miles on the rough gravel road with some steep hills and very slow driving, having to punch in codes to get through 2 different gates and all the hunting dogs roaming around the property (and one following me into the cabin gate one night, which was fun since I had my own dog). Also, the internet/wi-fi went out the 2nd night due to a thunderstorm and was out the remaining 2 days of my stay, but that was out of the owner's control and I still had wireless coverage the whole time while at the cabin. While the cabin was nice, cozy and secluded, I will probably look for one that is a little closer to Alley Springs campground next time. It took 20 minutes to get to from the cabin to the campground.

Very clean property and very nice host! The cabin was a very nice tiny home that had everything we needed. It rained a lot and although the porch was small 4 adults were able to spend rainy evenings outside under the covered porch. The loft beds would have been difficult to get in and out of for older adults, but the full size bedroom worked great for our parents and we were able to crawl into one loft, and our son in the other which he loved!

The listing entails one king bed, two queen beds, and two full sized pull outs. It had one king, two queens (barely accessible), and one futon that was a half sized bed. It did not comfortably sleep 8 as advertised.After communicating with the owner he brought out some bedding for the barely existing floor. The place however is immaculate otherwise, and would loved to have enjoyed it. But we didn’t stay, and the owner refunded us money. The biggest issue beside that was the hideous road to get to the site. If you’re concerned about sliding off the side of the road into the trees, the fear is light! I had to drive out in reverse listening to rocks tear into the chassis of the car. If your car is low to the ground it’s worse. My brother has a 4 wheel drive and barely made it out. Please let your customers know this is a real problem.

It was everything I expected. No hassle check in, clean, very comfortable beds. I will definitely be going again. Enjoyed our stay there. If you love the outdoors and backcountry riding (horses, SXS, whatever) this is an awsome area.

Amazing property! If you’re looking for seclusion in the Ozark Hills, this is it! Understand that you do get off of the paved highway and on to a gravel country road. I recommend sport mode if you have it. These are not hills for a novice. You have three big hills before you get to the property, but along the way, after your first hill, you can make a quick stop at the Lick Log Hollow Nature Trail. it’s a mile long and once you get about halfway on the trail you understand why this park is here… Wow! The host is accommodating and easy to get a hold of. Definitely a trip we’ll never forget!
