Located just 1 house off the beach and walking distance to historic downtown, Sand Castle is the perfect spot for your relaxing Cape Charles getaway!

This open floor plan features a spacious light filled family room, brand new kitchen with all new appliances, eat in bar and bonus flex space perfect for indoor dining or remote working (free wifi included). The private, fenced in backyard provides ample space to dine outdoors and also includes a grill, beach chairs and fabulous new outdoor shower. The screened porch not only includes a large dining table but is also the perfect shady spot to relax and take in the beautiful Cape Charles sunsets.

Sandcastle offers three bedrooms, two full baths and one half bath in addition to the spacious, newly remodeled outdoor shower. The master bedroom includes a king size bed and newly renovated adjoining bathroom. The additional guest bedrooms include a King and Queen size beds respectively.

Recently featured in Coastal Living as one of America's "Happiest Beach Towns", Cape Charles is known for its authentic charm, beautiful sunsets, family friendly beaches and many outdoor activities. We hope you will love it as much as we do!

This is a fabulous home practically on the beach - so close! Lovely fenced in backyard for pets and comfortable and roomy inside for all. Great furniture and furnishing, kitchen so well stocked, had everything you need. Home is also a quick walk to the Main Street in town for shopping, dining, and more - it’s the perfect location!

The location of this house is ideal for everyone. It was clean and comfortable and the outdoor shower was a must for children coming home from the beach. We enjoyed the beautiful park down the street also. It was great fun to walk the blocks and close to “downtown!” It was very quiet with little traffic although there were many houses occupied. A lovely town and the beach was gorgeous. This was a great house for families.

Best location in Cape Charles! We were able to easily walk to the beach, shops and the park. Great backyard for dogs. All the rooms were very spacious. Loved the master bath.

What a wonderful stay literally steps from the beach! Everything in the house is newly renovated and thoughtfully decorated. It's also very practical, too, for families with toddlers or pets: all one level so no worries about stairs, outdoor shower to wash the sand off, and fenced backyard that's great for dogs. You can walk to the downtown commercial area in about 5 minutes. Highly recommended!Things to know:- bring your own shampoo/body wash / other toiletries, they are not provided - we brought our own beach chairs/umbrella etc., I didn't see any available at the house.- there's no changing table for babies/toddlers

We really enjoyed our stay at this property in Cape Charles.it was clean, comfortable and well decorated with all the amenities you could wish for best of all was its closeness to the beach and easy access to everything in town. We just loved it!The host were wonderful as well. The check in was smooth. When I left I forgot my charger and rods and they were very gracious to mail it to me.Overall, a wonderful stay!

Great Week in Cape Charles

The property was perfect for our group of three couples. Our family had a great time being so close to the beach and 'into town'. A great place to stay and will stay here again when we come back to Cape Charles.

Wonderful second stay!

We looked forward to our return stay and it didn’t disappoint! Beautiful, comfortable home - plus the screened porch, back yard, and being only steps away from the beach and downtown area are must haves.

We had a fantastic stay here. The location is perfect and you can even hear the waves from the beach. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The master bathroom has a great shower as well! The outdoor shower and backyard were great for our kids after the beach. We will definitely be back!
