The Wernerwald (next to a forest near Dangast and Sankt Peter-Ording - the only forest area in Germany that is located directly on the North Sea coast) is only 100 m away.
The districts of Duhnen and Döse with their restaurants, cafes and beach promenades are only a stone's throw away, and Cuxhaven can also be reached quickly, both by bike and by car.
There you can watch the "old love" from the ships that come from or go to the port of Hamburg, take boat trips (eg to Heligoland by catamaran in just over an hour) or simply watch the hustle and bustle in the port.
Those who love peace and quiet can explore the Wernerwald by bike or on foot, or go on long hikes in the Cuxhaven coastal heath.
