Sheridan in Gailec means to seek, & wild or untamed. Let your Sheridan spirit express itself during your stay at Sheridan Haven in Loveland. You can find adventure in any direction from this centrally located home.
You are just walking distance to beautiful Lake Loveland and iconic Benson Sculpture Park.
Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park is only a 40 minute drive up the stunning Big Thompson Canyon.
Head 5 miles east to I25 corridor for a jaunt north to Cheyenne or south to Denver.
In the summer go boating on Boyd Lake, Carter Lake or Horsetooth Reservoir, all within a 20 minute drive or less. Or walk to the swim beach on Lake Loveland.
Skiing is just over an hour away at Eldora Ski Area in Nederland. Take the Peak to Peak highway for a more scenic drive! Continue on to Blackhawk/Central City for some fun at the casinos!
Sheridan Haven allows you to enjoy a place to relax in comfort after a long day exploring. The back yard is perfect for morning coffee, afternoon sun and evening smores. Internet, local broadcasting and free Netflix available on the 50” smart tv. Lots of throw blankets and pillows to cozy up on the leather couches. Warm lighting for ambience creates the perfect space for winding down. Yoga mats and dvds provided for your daily rituals.
Central A/C and whole house fan for cooling in the summer.
All beds have memory foam toppers, windows have blackout curtains, and bamboo rack in closet for luggage.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to create your culinary masterpieces. Many herbs and pantry staples are provided. Throw together a meal to cook while you explore the area with a large crockpot, blend your healthy smoothie or frozen margarita’s in the blender. Granite cookware makes for healthier non stick cooking with no toxic breakdown of cooking surface. Grill right off the kitchen on the patio on the Weber gas grill.
Seating for 6 at the bar top dining table is cozy and open to the livingroom.
Complimentary coffee and condiments for a single cup or full pot Keurig…we’re conscious of waste so a reusable Keurig filter is provided.
Great LG Washer and Dryer with laundry products available if needed.
A pack and play, highchair and toys are also available for those traveling with little ones. We love our poochies so we’re happy to provide a fully fenced yard and ergonomic dog feeder for Your poochies!

My daughter and I stayed here so we would be close to a family reunion in Ft Collins. The house was perfect -comfortable, clean and well stocked with everything we might need. This VRBO is one the best that we have stayed. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the bath towels were large and luxurious. The kitchen was very well equipped. Everything was great. We have a dog and they are very pet friendly!! It was very nice size so we all had a bed to sleep on. There instructions was accurate and very accommodating. Next time we are in Loveland we would use this listing again.

Nice cozy house to use as home base for exploring northern Colorado (Estes Park, Ft Collins, Loveland, RMNP) as well as Denver for the day. Very quiet neighborhood, central a/c, and three nice bedrooms. Sweet backyard with table and chairs for al fresco dining (AM and PM), big living room, and ample parking. Very nice washer & dryer as well, so you can pack light.Owner just a text away and responds very quickly. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful stay

What a wonderful place with a wonderful patio to watch summer quick storms and the sun. Owner was very accomodating and pleasant to speak with. the house is very well decorated and comfortable. Spent 1 or 2 days just lounging and enjoying the place.

Great host and home

We wanted to stay near Fort Collins for Thanksgiving because we had a new granddaughter less than a week old. The house was a nice size and the owner was in great communications both phone calls and text. The house was well stocked and dog friendly. I would definitely stay with this owner again.

I'm so happy to host your stay in Northern Colorado! I moved to this area in 1978 from Chicago, Illinois. I first landed in Estes park and immediately fell in love with the area. Over the years I worked in several aspects of the tourist industry before moving down the Big Thompson Canyon to Loveland. All my life I have been in the service industry. It's a natural transition to host visitors to the area. If there is anything I can do to make your stay more enjoyable, please feel free to call me! I'm only a few blocks away and I'm here to help in anyway I can.

Why they chose this property

Sheridan Haven was my home for many years before I started leasing it to long term renters. I had some interesting experiences, some good and some bad. I decided to transition my home in to a vacation rental so I can serve more people and have a place to accommodate family and friends when in the area . I love to see people fall in love with the area as I did 43 years ago. And I'm very sentimental about this home. We've put a lot of love into this home over the last 17 years. And will continue to work to improve upon things moving forward. Your feedback is always welcome, good or bad, it will help us improve your experience with us.

What makes this property unique

Sheridan Haven is in a very convenient location to everything Northern Colorado. Walking distance to some of Loveland's greatest treasures! Lake Loveland is known for it's swim beach and walking trail. Benson Sculpture Park is just a few blocks away. Close to everything you need in the way of shopping.
In the summer, Sheridan Haven will have a bountiful garden for guests to enjoy tending if they'd like to, but most importantly, they will reap the benefits of the harvest throughout the season. In the fall guests may even enjoy some fresh apples and peaches from the trees out back. A short drive to spectacular Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Further north is the Poudre Canyon and Red Feather Lakes if you'd like a little more seclusion from the crowds and top notch trout fishing. Skiing in the winter at Eldora allows you to avoid all the traffic of I70 and just a little over an hour to get there! Added bonus is having a host that has lived in the area for 43 years. I can direct you to where you want to go to do just about anything. And if you're thinking you'd like to move here, I can help you shop around. I'm a licensed Realtor and love introducing people to the area.
