Perfectly peaceful
Sparklingly clean up to date space, with room for the family to spread out or come together. We enjoyed the firepit and stars at night, and the wildlife (deer, fox, hummingbirds, woodpecker, bunnies) from the deck in the morning. Lake is small but deep and clear, with minnows to swim between your feet if you hold still. Just what we needed.

Fantastic stay
We booked this property for the 4th of July. A company of 9. Very comfortable house. The kitchen is huge. There is even robot to vacuum. All in the house is brand new. Snow white towels.
The lake isn’t too far, so we were walking all the time. The water was real warm and nice and the weather cooperated.
The hostess was very responsive and friendly.
We will definitely consider renting it again. Maybe even in the winter as the mountain is in the plain view of the house.

Wedding Weekend
This home was the exact location we were looking for. Went to a concert at Bethel Woods on Thursday night which was about 50 minutes from the home. Had a wedding on Saturday at The Farm at Lake Cottrell which was another 10 minutes drive. Elk Meadows has a tranquil mountain atmosphere with a lovely little lake that features Elk Mountain ski slopes as a backdrop! Excellent location to stay for a ski vacay! Very clean, and neat. Exactly as advertised. Bertha, the host, was in contact throughout our three day stay. A fine little moutain gem home!!
