Blue Ridge offers something for everyone. A sportsman's paradise with endless local hunting and fishing opportunities. Blue Ridge also offers activities for many other interests. Between zip lining, river rafting, horse back riding, hiking and waterfall viewing, among many other activities, there is no shortage of things to do. For the real adventurer, just 15 minutes to the south Expedition Bigfoot will answer all your questions about Squatch movements. Downtown Blue Ridge is 4 miles away from Blackberry Hill, and is packed with restaurants and shopping. Blue Ridge is also an emerging wine region with over 40 wineries within 60 miles of the cabin and many much closer. Blue Ridge is also a big apple growing region, featuring Mercier Orchards and short drive to Georgia's famous Apple Festival in October. Our favorite thing to do in Blue Ridge is to start our day with Coffee (latte machine provided in cabin) on the upper deck with a roaring fire in the Chimenea. We then like to discover new wineries and bring our favorite bottle of the day back to the cabin, sprinkle some corn on the patio, build a big fire in the main deck fireplace, and enjoy our wine, while watching the wildlife visiting for an afternoon treat.
