Great place to stay. Only complaint was the beds were little outdated and was hard to sleep on. Other than that it was a great place to stay for Marine graduations. Location was great for everything and had easy access within short drive from the house.
We had a little trouble getting in but the property owener responded quickly and got us in. The home was as advertised and was exactly what we needed for a short stay.
The home was very modest but that is what you would expect for the modest price we paid. It was very clean. When I arrived I checked for dust but there was none to be found! We were a bit concerned about the neighborhood as we arrived, but found it to be very quiet indeed. The listing doesn't say so, but there is a washer and dryer on site. The owner has put together a book with some very interesting sites suggested. We appreciated that!
This small cottage was perfect for us, two retirees who love the beach and history. Even tho we are Civil War buffs , we learned so much about the Reconstruction Era that we didn’t know. We brought our recumbent bikes and really enjoyed riding them in the neighborhood and downtown. My husband even took his ‘fat wheel’ bike onto the beach and found the foundations of the cabins our family stayed in 40 plus years ago. They were swept away by a tropical storm in 2007. Charming city, cozy cottage with awesome outdoor seating areas and everything we needed. The kitchen and other areas are fully equipped for even the biggest family meal. Hope we can manage to snap this cottage if we come back

We stayed over the weekend and we loved it Especially the park pass we had 5 adult and we went to the beach everyday it saved use a couple hundred dollars Dan is a great guy checked to see if we needed anything. at first we didn’t know about the neighborhood it was in but no-one bothered use so it was ok overall we had a great experience and we’ll be booking again
We were looking for a clean resonably priced place to stay for Marine Graduation. This house was perfect. The neighborhood is a bit iffy...yes but keep driving it gets much better . It's very quiet except for the roosters lol. We met a few neighbors they were nice the house was SPOTLESS. The beds were comfy and the location was perfect. Easy to Pariss Island and everywhere else. The coffee pot worked great and the fridge had ice and water all instructions were easy . We had a question was answered immediately. It was a terrific place to stay . Beafort is an amazing place. We loved it.
The house was perfect for a family get away: 3BR/1.5 baths, a reading area, a TV room, a large dining table perfect for meals, games, and puzzles, and a desk. It was super clean and neat. The only potential concern I’ll mention is the house across the street has chicken, which were crowing (?) around the clock. It didn’t bother us much, but light sleepers should be aware.
