With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

The listing did not say the unit was on the second floor. It was not a problem for us but could be for some guests. The bathroom is very spartan. Someplace to put clothes while taking a shower would be a big improvement.

Charleston

Great location to shopping, food, historical tours, and many tourist attractions. All things within walking distance. 1 free off street parking space provided. Area can be a little noisy but you are near everything so that is expected. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice but NOISY!

David is a great communicator and got right on a shower needing to be fixed. The rental is clean and has everything you need for a short stay. We walked to many places from the unit which was nice. However, If you are a light sleeper like me, I would not recommend this unit. The street noise was terrible and the two sleep machines provided, did little to mask out the noise. The bed sits on that outer wall, so you are sleeping about ten feet away from the blaring car radios and revving engines waiting at the stoplight.

Great Stay!

Loved the unit and the location. So many great restaurants to walk to. Had to drive to go downtown, but it was a quick 5-10 min drive depending on where we wanted to go. But if you’re in Charleston to eat and drink, there’s no need to drive anywhere!
