East 42 - C is a charming one bedroom one bathroom apartment located just one block to King St. and just around the corner from Island Provisions, Chubby Fish, and The Tippling House. This one bedroom is packed with charm and all the comforts of home. The kitchen is filled with natural light and opens onto the entry porch where you may enjoy your morning coffee. The living room is cozy and quaint with a sleeper sofa for flex bedding, the bedroom boasts a king bed with luxurious linens and beautiful decor and to complete the home there is a custom tile shower, laundry closet and one designated parking space.

WARNING: THERE IS ACTIVE LOUD CONSTRUCTION OCCURRING NEAR THIS LOCATION. This was never revealed in the description of the property prior to booking and it was obvious that the construction has been going on for some time. The "pile driving" started at 745 am and lasted all day until 5 pm which precluded us from enjoying sleep and the outside porch area due to the loud noise. The apartment literally shook from the vibration.However, when we contacted the host company, they were responsive and reasonable, refunding one of our two day for the inconvenience. Otherwise, the apartment is well furnished, comfortable and a great location near upper King Street. When construction is completed, this would be a great place to stay. However, the construction does not appear to be concluding anytime soon.

Everything about the property was like what we saw on the listing. It was very clean and in a nice neighborhood. The check-in process was so easy. We got to town earlier than the check-in time and text asking to check in early. The staff were quick to respond and allowed us to check in early. I would stay again.

My wife and I loved our stay here. In a great location and the place was decorated wonderfully. Very clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. And the property owners were great in responding to our questions. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Charleston.

This charming rental has everything you need for a comfortable and beautiful stay. The attention to detail and decor is fabulous and the whole rental has all the little things that make a stay enjoyable. The bed is comfortable and the updated bathroom and kitchen are so nice. The location is convenient. I highly recommend this rental and will definitely come back!

Amazing location, clean, and perfect for four

The apartment was so cute and well maintained. It was right across the street from by the way where we ended up almost every night. Easily walkable to anything on king street. The staff were amazing and accommodated a late check out and also let us keep our bags in the apartment before our nighttime flight. Only complaint is the couch bed wasn’t very comfortable and didn’t have an extra blanket but other than that the stay was beyond amazing.

Cute place and close to everything

Great place to stay. Can walk to all restaurants. It's on the upper of king so if you are into the bars and night life this is the perfect spot. The management company is awesome! Very attentive. You don't need a car but if you choose to there is parking in the back. Over all I give it 5 stars!!!
