This was the perfect house / vibe for our party of 14. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom…GENIUS. Beds were extremely comfortable. This is located right downtown and so close to everything. Would highly recommend for any group coming to Lexington for the Bourbon Trail.

Bourbon Hous was a perfect place for gathering to celebrate with family & friends over a weekend of wedding events. The house offers spacious common areas, luxury private bedrooms with on suite bathrooms, and a fantastic bourbon bar! The hosts were exceptional in their attention to details and responsive our needs—making our weekend extra special. We highly recommend it and plan to return!

Our group was attending a conference nearby and chose to go with a VRBO instead of hotel rooms. The property is in a great location and is clean and well-equipped. While it is on a noisy street, the property owner provides white noise machines and ear plugs. The bourbon bar is great and the N64 was enjoyed by all (FYI one controller might need replaced as it seems to be wearing out). Thanks for being great hosts!

We had an awesome time at the Bourbon Hous. It fit perfectly what we needed for 8 total people with room for many more. The karaoke system was used heavily. We took some Bourbon and left more than we drank. It’s a little loud at night there but the ear plugs for some and the Bourbon for others made that almost a non-issue. Highly recommend for a great Lexington stay.

The house was great! We had 10 people and it was perfect. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and the beds were very comfortable! The location can’t be beat! Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway for friends

We had a wonderful time at the Bourbon House. Everything was well thought out and felt like a special retreat. The hosts were easy to work with and quick to respond to questions. Highly recommend!

UK Grad weekend

This home was a delight for our weekend college celebration. The location was a convenient easy walk to Rupp arena, comfortable bedroom space for our 12 guests. We have great memories of the Bourbon House!

Wonderful Place

All 14 of us really loved Bourbon Hous! It was ideal for what we were looking for. Everything was clean and ready when we got there. The host and hostess were very responsive any time we communicated with them. A great experience!

Amazing House and Hosts

What an amazing property. Exquisite renovation of an old Carpenters Union HQ. Pictures don’t do it justice. Literally blocks from downtown, Rupp Arena and UK campus. Plenty of free parking onsite. Hosts were very communicative and the welcome gift was much appreciated!

Amazing Stay

My family and I (total of 13) stayed at Bourbon Hous for my son’s graduation from UK. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect property. Everything is just as pictured. Great space for gathering and spending time together as well as private, comfortable, and plush bedrooms. The location can’t be beat either. I’d highly recommend staying here. You won’t regret it.

Absolutely Fabulous!

Absolutely perfect stay at Bourbon Hous for a 50th birthday celebration. We had 5 couples and it felt like our own private boutique hotel. The rooms are gorgeous, clean and well appointed. Beds were incredibly comfortable. The bar and pool table are so perfect for hanging out after dinner together. The communication with the owner was smooth and easy. I HIGHLY recommend this property. It was amazing!!!

Simply Amazing

Bourbon Hous was simply amazing! The huge gathering area and beautiful bar was everything we wanted and more. The property was clean and very well furnished. All 7 bedrooms have a private bath which was clean, modern and very well done. The amenities were well above most rentals. The host was wonderful to work with as well. I cannot recommend this enough. Loved it!

Great place to stay.

This was my first time visiting Lexington. I had a bachelor party to do the Bourbon Trail and Keenland Derby. We arrived early and were greeted by a bottle of bourbon. The bar/living room was my favorite part of the house. Everyone had their own bedroom, bathroom, and Thermostat to make them comfortable. The location is within walking distance of several bars and nice restaurants. You have to love the Bulldog in the pool room. :-)

Couples Trip

Bourbon Hous was great, comfy beds, location great to everything. A lot of traffic and ambulances, near to hospital, but owners provide accommodations for outside noise. Shaun Washington, Ultimate Farm Tours, absolutely made our trip. We spent two days with him. Distillery tour, lunch, horse farms, and he knows everybody and where to go. Highly recommend him. Can’t say enough about him! Recommended by Bourbon Hous owners.

Prefect for a large group

Absolutely lived up to its listing. Plenty of space. One of the cleanest VRBOs I have stayed in. Kitchen was small but nicely stocked with basic supplies. Place settings for 12 - so you might need paper plates if you have a larger group. On the edge of a residential neighborhood. Lots of homeless people on the corner - but they weren’t aggressive and didn’t bother us. Had an amazing bar - they just ask you replace what you use! Over a dozen types of bourbon when we arrived. Hosts were great and always responded to questions within 10 minutes. Best hosts I have ever worked with. Would definitely stay again if we return to Lexington !

Wow, I have no words. This house was amazing. We were in town for a family wedding everyone had their own room, own bathroom, own thermostat! The house exceeded expectations it was the perfect gathering space for us throughout the week for everyone to enjoy. location was in the middle of everything we needed and walking distance to shopping and coffee. Just book it. You wont be disappointed!

Best place we have ever stayed!

It started with the friendliness and professionalism of the hosts Brian and Leslie! I think it is easy to be a host when everything goes as planned but with this stay we had the power go out in the neighborhood. Temps outside we negative numbers but within minutes Brian and Leslie had Mike (right hand ) deliver a bunch of battery powered lanterns. Life saver! Yes service is amazing but the house and location are equally great! The honor system bourbon bar being part of the huge living area quickly became “the hang out”! We will be back for sure. Thank you Brian, Leslie and Mike from all 13 of us!!
