The cottage was beautifully appointed and clean. There is a small washer/dryer that is quite handy to keep up with laundry. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is well-stocked. Host is gracious and responds quickly. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return! Thanks so much!

Enjoyed our stay. Unit was clean and comfortable. Kids enjoyed swimming in the two pools. If you have young kids there is a fun playground with splashpad within walking distance. Do be aware that stairs to get upstairs are very steep so upstairs bedrooms may not be the best for elderly guests (and twin beds in loft only accessible by ladder). We will definitely be staying here again!

2 Night Stay

The house was clean and appears to be pretty new. The pool would have been a blast for your 2 and 4 year old but it rained the whole day we were there. I wish I could give 1/2 stars because I would give this place 4 1/2 stars. This is set up more like a hotel property and we were disappointed by the lack of condiments and coffee creamer. Very minor, I know. We plan to come back and hopefully get good weather.

Thank you for your review David! We wish you got better weather during your stay...maybe next time! We appreciate your feedback about the condiments and is something we can think about implementing in the future. Hope to see you again!

Amazing house but lake is just ok.

The homes and pool were beautiful. However there is a water treatment plant nearby that smells at times. The lake is not able to be swam in. So boating and tubing are not possible. But hanging out at the actual house and pool are absolutely wonderful. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby to get food drinks and a solid meal. All of the houses in this development are so beautifully designed and decorated. The house had pretty much everything you need to down a long weekend or even a week. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the loft. However, it is a bit scary climbing the ladder to get into the loft. The manager was beyond helpful and communication was top notch. If the lake was able to be swam in, we would vacation here each summer. To be clear, the house itself is absolutely stunning.

Thank you Jerry for your feedback! I am sorry you didn’t feel the water quality was ok for swimming. The Grand Lake LIA is working hard on continuing to improve its water quality every year, as it has seen its best improvement in the past decade. This year has been one of our best for boating, tubing, and swimming. We hope you come back, as the water quality will only get better! 😊
