Relax far away from the hustle and bustle, stress and traffic on the sunny mountain terrace of our organic mountain farm on the south side of the Rigi, the Queen of the Mountains, at 1170 metres above sea level. Let your gaze wander with breathtaking views over Lake Lucerne, from the Alps of Central Switzerland to the Bernese Alps and the Jura. Relax and enjoy, unfortunately we are not equipped for pets. Standard equipment for our holiday guests: Warm clothing, sturdy shoes, rain protection, torch, slippers, if necessary an adapter for Swiss sockets Prerequisite for a winter booking: Physical fitness, the path is suitable for snowshoesThere is the possibility to safely deposit skis or sledges at the railway station. Other living room furnishings (living room1): The lovingly furnished non-smoking holiday flat is located on the ground floor of the newly built farmhouse. Through the separate entrance you enter the flat with the new, friendly kitchen and the bright, light-filled living room and smell the natural wood of the exterior walls. Sit down in a deckchair on the large sunbathing lawn and enjoy the unspoilt mountain world with a magnificent view of Lake Lucerne and the Alpine panorama to the full. Location description: Our organic mountain farm is in an idyllic location, but can only be reached by the Rigi cable car and then in 15 minutes on foot. 1170 metres above sea level, we run our certified organic mountain farm "Oberebnet" with great pleasure and enthusiasm. It is located above Vitznau, on the south side of the Rigi. Our 10 suckler cows and their calves enjoy a lot of time outdoors. Suckler cow husbandry is characterised by the natural husbandry of our animals. The calves stay with their mother after birth. They are fed mother's milk, and later also grass and hay. Free-range husbandry with summer grazing and winter exercise as well as littered lying areas are a prerequisite and a matter of course. The animals utilise meadows and pastures extensively.
