Charming Lake Whitney cottage located in beautiful Bosque County. Ready for relaxing, fishing or just enjoying the fresh air and bright stars on a clear evening. We offer a newly remodeled 3 bedroom and 2 bath home with a deck on 3 sides. Access to the property from 2 roads with plenty of room to park your boat. Well equipped kitchen. No dishwasher but we stock paper and plastic goods. Extra fold up table and 4 folding chairs available if needed. Fire Sticks on all TV’s. Charcoal grill and Corn hole boards and bags

Great stay

House was wonderful. Fully stocked and beds were super comfortable. Great water pressure in the showers as well, which we always appreciate. Nice quiet property and neighborhood.

Possibly the Best Stay in the Area

This property was outstanding. I've stayed in a lot of VRBO and Air B&B places and this is probably the best I've experienced. The decor is fantastic. Cute without being overdone. Furniture is attractive and comfortable. Linens excellent. Cooking items in excellent condition. Covered parking. But most importantly this is the cleanest house I've ever seen! No bugs in a country house? I don't know how they do it! I felt "at home" from the moment I walked in. Don't miss this property which is better than described in their listing.

Cute and Clean Cottage in Laguna Park

We really enjoyed our stay at Anchor Cottage over the weekend. We had five adults and our two year old and it was the perfect amount of space for all of us. We were close enough to go to the state park and also go fishing in the Laguna Park area. My two year old loved chasing the neighbor's chickens and though we were close to other properties it was quiet and peaceful. The cottage was incredibly clean and had plenty of amenities and then some! I would suggest bringing your own foil or tupperware containers as we had some leftovers from grilling and didn't have a way to store them. Other than that the only suggestion I have is a towel hook for the bathroom-that's it! Beth was quick to respond to our questions and very friendly. I did have a bit of trial and error figuring out the smart thermostat but I eventually got it. Another thing to note is that the check out process was incredibly simple, as far as what they ask you to do when you leave. Coming from other properties that have a giant checklist of things to do I was really appreciative of this. Overall this place was great and we will definitely try to stay again next year!

Fun getaway!

The cottage is very comfortable and met our needs perfectly! It was clean, the beds and pillows provided for a great night’s sleep, and is decorated so cute. My only suggestions would be to add lamps to the nightstands in the bedrooms and towel hooks to the bathrooms. We will definitely plan to stay here again! Cindy

Charming little house

We stayed for a weekend in order to attend a family reunion nearby. The house is immaculately kept, nice decor, beds are comfortable (I often do not like the beds when staying away from home), the kitchen well equipped, and the host was very helpful, very quick to respond to questions. Definitely recommend.

The property was so neat & very well kept/clean. When I first walked through the door it smelled so fresh & clean, yet homey! I HIGHLY recommend the Anchor Cottage to anyone visiting Whitney, TX. It was a short drive to Parson's Marina & Boondock's Bait & More. This property was exactly how it was described, but so much more than we expected. Beth was awesome to business with & was always a great help if we had questions.

We were in the area for a family reunion several miles away. We basically slept and showered at the property. I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the house! The beds were very comfy, so that’s a plus!

Thanksgiving get away

Beth offered extra cooking utensils because of the holiday which made it extremely better for planning and packing! We were very comfortable and cozy in the house despite the rain. There was a bridge table with chairs in the front closet so we settled in and played a few rounds. It was very plesant.

We really enjoyed our stay the home was clean and easily accessible. We felt right at home. We would definitely book again. It was a birthday weekend for my Mom she loved everything about it and said it was most comfortable bed she ever slept in. We love had my 2 grandsons age 1 and 3 they had a great time enjoyed the games that were provided.

Lake cabin

When we first arrived check in process was so easy. We walked in and the place smelt nice and was very clean. It Was much nicer than the pictures even show. The beds were very comfortable, and the host had everything for us. Kitchen stocked, even with paper goods which was a nice touch , we were busy fishing so that was less dishes we needed to clean. Plenty of room to park as well. One of the most prepared and clean places I have rented before. I will definitely rent again next time we come to this lake.
