Extremely uncomfortable beds, horrific smell in the upstairs bathroom, leak & stained ceiling in downstairs bathroom, ac did not work in one bedroom and limited entry/exit access to another bedroom. I do not recommend ESPECIALLY for the rate I paid!

Thanks for the review! We do know there is a water leak coming from upstairs and staining the ceiling. We are already on top of it. All the window units seem to be working when we came through after you left. We also didn't smell anything in the upstairs bathroom when we were there. We haven't had any feedback from previous guests about the beds being uncomfortable either. Glad you enjoyed your stay! Jeff

Spring break

Harkins & Hoover family vacation

Best time ever! We had 8 months to 83 and everyone had a great time. Lovely pool and excellent amenities. Perfect for our family and the needs of all ages. Plenty of room for all… Thank so much for sharing your home with us and we can’t wait to come back next year!!!

Family Vacation

Nice sized house with plenty of room for large families. Kids enjoyed the pool and game room Lots of board games for rainy days. The walk to the lake is short. Bring good walking shoes as trail is rocky but that did not detour us from enjoying the lake fishing. Would stay here again

Annual family trip

The house was big and had a ton of beds. Very well stocked with kitchen ware. The walk to the lake was really rough with rock and tall grass and stickers! Other then that great place and tons on fun

Family fishing trip

We had a great time at the Rustic Star on our annual family fishing trip that we’ve been doing for over 30 years. There were 10 of us, just men and boys. There were plenty of room and beds, the pool table was a hit. We are looking forward to next year.

XC team

Roomy property for a big group. It was a very cold weekend and the fireplace was great to have, kept us warm. Property manager replied very quickly to anquwations or needs we had.
