Hello Guests,
We have made many cherished memories over the years with our children and extended friends and family, in our Emerald Isle home. We have kayaked together, taken long bike rides and walks, shared special times around the table for those special seafood feasts. We look forward to even more years (hopefully with some grandchildren) making new memories; this is such a great beach for families. We hope you too will think of our home as a place to reconnect refresh and renew.
The Daltons
Jo Ann purchased this house in 2005
We have looked off and on at coastal property for over twenty years. When we came to Emerald Isle on vacation in 1996, we knew this is where we wanted to invest in a property and lifestyle. Emerald Isle has so much to offer, from pristine waters, sidewalks for walking and biking. In 2001 we bought a smaller house (Brand New Day), also a vacation rental; when the opportunity presented itself to buy and build we took advantage. This was a from the ground up project; we chose all the furnishings (moved it all by ourselves too) and my wife did all the interior decorating. We also did most of the landscaping. It was a lot of sweat equity but we are so proud of the outcome; this is just a wonderful home and location for us to come together and shut out the rest of the 'real' world. Our hope is that it will be that kind of vacation refuge for you as well.
Beautiful house with so much space. Tons of room for our family gathering. Close to the beach with beautiful pool and everything we needed. Thank you for one of the most Memorial vacations we've had.
Brinker Family
We had a great family vacation, and although we were kept from the beach for a day or two due to the weather, Jo Ann was very communicative and let us know what to prepare for. She was a very caring and attentive host. The pictures don't do the house justice, as there is so much more space than the pictures can show. The furniture was comfortable, and communal areas were great for spending quality time. The kitchen is stocked on things you might need, and the grocery store was a short drive away for anything we needed to buy. The pool is a great amenity and allowed us to enjoy the privacy of the home even more - the kids in our family even seemed to enjoy it more than the beach itself! The home is clean and well-maintained, and the cleaning ladies we met on our way out were very friendly. Overall, we wished we could have stayed longer, and would definitely return.
We have been renting from this homeowner since 2010 sometimes twice a year. We have never been disappointed in the property or the homeowner. The attention to their homes and customer is exceptional. Our last stay here, we were accompanied by a family member who had just finished chemo. The homeowner personally came in before our arrival and sanitized light switches, hand rails etc.. they even contacted us after our arrival to suggest removing the throw rug in front of the elevator as they felt it was a hazard to someone weak and fatigued. Really, where do you get service, care and concern like this? In all the years we have rented the homeowners have been just a phone call away.
The house is always beautiful and comfortable. This is a home that allows our fur baby to vacation with us and shows no evidence it is pet friendly. Believe me, we have stayed in some very bad pet friendly homes. You will not be disappointed vacationing here!
Lovely home, comfortable, close to beach, great pool. Elevator was indispensible due to senior family members. Owners were wonderful and quick to respond to our needs. Convenient location to all beach attractions. We have already booked our week there in 2016! It was nice to be able to bring our pet along, too!
Great, big house! Super close to beach!!! Beautiful ocean views from top deck. Awesome pool!!! Nice that there were cribs there for the baby! The owners of this house were fabulous and super responsive to any needs. We loved going to the Cape Lookout Lighthouse--it was the highlight of our trip! Thanks for a great family beach week! For a house this close to the beach with a pool you cannot beat the price, size, etc.
We have rented here before and searched it out to rent again. It was beautiful 2 years ago and was just as great this year. Perfect location, clean and well-maintained. Beautiful beach decor without being over the top! So close to the beach with an awesome pool, we love coming here with our children!
Our home is 15 minutes from the NC Aquarium, located in Pine Knoll Shores. Beaufort and Morehead City, both beautiful port towns are 30 minutes away. Emerald Isle is quite unique, in that it has a paved walking/bike path almost the whole length of the town. You never have to get on the busy main road to bike, walk, blade anywhere you want to go, including grocery store, theater, restaurants, etc.
