Family & Dog Friendly Oceanfront

'Carolina Dawn' is a comfortably furnished and fully equipped oceanfront duplex (East side). Just steps from the beautiful sandy beaches and crystal clear waters of Emerald Isle, this is one of the most family friendly beaches in the Southeast. This lovely home sleeps 11 people and is equipped with free wifi and cable tv. There are 2 oceanfront primary suites with king-sized beds, bathrooms and private decks. A third oceanfront room has a queen-sized bed and oceanfront deck. The two other rooms offer views of the sound. One has a queen sized bed. The other has a full sized bed and a twin bed - perfect for kids. The updated kitchen is fully stocked and offers a great view of the ocean as you cook. The dining room table seats 8 and the oversized bar seats 4. There's a charcoal grill along with an assortment of boogie boards, sand toys and more. A private, spray off area and outdoor shower (with hot & cold water and a hand-held shower head) make clean-up easy. Up to two well-behaved dogs (depending on size, breed) are welcome with a $150 non-refundable deposit. Other amenities include flat screen "smart" TVs, DVD players.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. The views are lovely. The home is far enough from the shops and entertainment that it's nice and quiet but still just ten minutes to everything in Emerald Isle. Loved having our own private beach access.

Having the living area and a bedroom on the 1st floor was good, given the composition of our family. Being on the beach with easy access to sand and ocean gave flexibility for all. We had a grand week. Check in was easy. A Dollar General is a short walk away

Beautiful Oceanfront Stay

Great beach access, wonderful layout for the whole family! We appreciate being able to bring our pups. I would bring extra paper towels and toilet paper, not well stocked on that. Other than that, a perfect vacation!

This house was well provisioned for a fun beach stay; it was comfortable and unfussy. Everything was clean. We appreciated having chairs and beach toys available for the kids, plus a well-stocked kitchen.

Amazing Getaway!

The house was everything we hoped for and more! Completely stress free from booking to checkout. The views from all 3 balconies are breathtaking. The location is convenient to grocery and restaurants.

PERFECT!

The home was beautiful, the view and access to the beach was amazing. Communicating with Amy was so easy and quick. Plenty of little amenities that make the stay convenient without having to go back out to stock up. Amy passed local information that definitely made a difference in our time there.

Wonderful stay!

We came to the beach for a weekend to celebrate my spouse’s 50th birthday and had a wonderful time! You cannot beat the location of the house - literally steps from the ocean - and the duplex was super spacious and well appointed! We got in later than expected due to work, and Amy was so kind to let us check out a little later. We’ll be back again!

Weekend Getaway

We spent a weekend at Emerald Isle and thoroughly enjoyed staying at Amy's place! She was communicative, provided great recommendations, and was accommodating. It was a great place for a family with toddlers a the aquarium is close by, oceanfront, many rooms, and close to restaurants, shops, etc. We hope to come back soon!

Annual friends for R&R

The kitchen had everything we need! Very well stocked. There were plenty of blankets, pillows, etc. Amy (owner) is very responsive to any needs (it is NOT likely that you will need anything). Comfortable bedroom and adequate seating in living area. We'll be renting from her again!

First Stay in Emerald Isle

The house was very dirty and run down. Walls are stained. Windows had smudge marks everywhere. One of the showers was clogged with hair. Manager sent handyman without asking us first. Was not worth the price. Would NOT stay again.

Really lovely place!

Excellent stay from start to finish. Because we were doing a big thanksgiving dinner at the beach house, we were worried that the kitchen might not be as well appointed as we needed. We were pleasantly surprised! Everything was clean and in good condition. The owner, Amy was responsive when we had questions. Highly recommended!

Family Fun

We had a quick trip planned in less than 24 hours. Family came from the Charleston, SC, Jamestown, NC snd Rocky Mount, NC areas to support a military hike. Our host Amy made everything go so smoothly. A huge THANK YOU to Amy. She went above and beyond to make our stay the best ever!! The house was everything we needed. We had all of the space we needed with our lil fur babies beside us. We collected shells on the beach, had a grand bbq and lots of laughs. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience for our family to get together on such short notice. We will be back.
