Convenient location for an East Bay stay

The location was perfect for my visit to the East Bay especially with the included parking. The space is small but comfortable for a single traveler. The property manager was responsive and attentive.

Not faithful to the photos. Don’t recommend.

Host was very communicative and reactive. However the apartment was extremely dirty and not faithful to the photos. One key that was provided was bent and not functional. The carpet was not vacuumed; upon arrival there were white dog hairs on a black carpet — not a great first impression. In the bedroom there was a dog bone in the bed, making me question if the sheets were really clean. Marks on the wall that could have easily been cleaned with a magic eraser. The kitchen towel was stained. Wallpaper peeling off. Apartment is not well insulated and I heard neighbors coughing, people running upstairs. This was a last minute trip for business and I can see why the place wasn’t booked yet. Do not recommend.

Wanted to like it BUT!

The communication with some of the staff was great but when we had to leave due to the mold smell and ant extermination smell they initially offered a discount and refund (which was the right thing to do) but then we had to fight with VRBO to get the owners to refund the days and never saw the promised discount. We realize there has been a lot of water in the bay AND mold isnt something to mess around with. If this had been remedied it was a cute place. A few things kinda falling apart but could've passed in the cute funky category. I hope they can remedy it. It is a great location!
