Come enjoy peaceful tranquility on this 2.5 acre property that backs the National Forest. Sunset Ranch sits above Doney Park Valley providing gorgeous views of Mt Elden and Mt Humphreys. Sit back and relax on the expansive deck with nothing but Forest and Meadows. The home has two additional buildings including a converted garage turned billiards room complete with darts and a 2,400 sq ft Recreation Hall complete with full-size PICKLE BALL COURT, Basketball Hoop, Cornhole, & Ping Pong table. And for the even more fun the Rec Hall has a disco ball with lighting so put on your favorite songs and have a blast! Your kids, big and small won’t want to leave.

Sunset Ranch was an amazing VRBO/short term rental! We had a great experience with our family, the house is well stocked and the layout and outdoor patio was the best. It worked perfect for our family weekend to celebrate an NAU graduation. John was great to work with and we had a great stay! Highly recommend!

We stayed here with 13 people ranging from 9 months to 75 years and had a blast! The bedrooms were comfortable, the shared spaces in the house worked very well for us, and we used the Pickleball court a lot. There were several times that we had a game of Pickelball going along with a game of ping pong and a game of cornhole, all in the same room! We ran out of time to really use the other out-building (with billiards and darts), but the room looked great. My wife also LOVED the soft water and the filtered water faucet.It was very helpful to have two sets of washers and driers, as half of us had already road-tripped for a few days before arriving. It made doing laundry easy!We will definitely stay here again if/when we return to the Flagstaff area.

Everything about this place was top notch from the communication with the host to the level of cleanliness to the multiple different activities and accommodations at the home. If you have an opportunity to visit Flagstaff for any reason and in any season, this is the place to stay. There was more than enough room for a much bigger group, but we enjoyed every minute and are so grateful for the flexibility of the host as we threw together a last-minute trip to go skiing. If we ever visit Flagstaff again, I can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

This property blew us away! From the view of the hills from the huge back deck, beautiful sunsets from front, pickleball and pool games steps away, relaxing sits in the sauna, and the large amounts of seating to accommodate, this resort does not disappoint. I call it a resort since it has just about everything we’d expect from one. The only thing we wish it had was a hot tub. The space around the property offers all the privacy you’d need and we never once heard a neighbor. We highly recommend Sunset Ranch!

This house is hands down one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed at. The house is clean, lots of space, and so much to offer. The two garages will entertain adults and kids all day. The land around the home is a breath taking and open to explore/hike. The bedrooms were stocked with towels, comfortable beds, and plenty of linens/blankets. The location is quiet and isolated. And the amount of sitting space and areas to entertain is incredible.

We're the McNarys. We are a family of three, Heidi, Jack, and John, with one furry family member named Teddy. I, John, am a Native Arizonan and loved visiting Flagstaff as a kid. I ended up attending NAU (Class of 91') and fell in love even more with the area. We purchased our first summer home back in 2017 and decided to list it on VRBO. We now have two VRBOs in Flagstaff and love sharing our homes with our guests. We strive to make everyone's stay as pleasant and memorable as possible.

We chose this property because of it's layout and location. Doney Park (East Flagstaff) has a semi-rural feel yet it is close to all that Flagstaff has to offer.
