Este elegante apartamento de 45 metros cuadrados en el corazón del casco antiguo de Salzburgo es. En uno de cada 14 Siglo construido edificio histórico situado en el tranquilo y romántico Goldgasse inmediatamente adyacente a la famosa Getreidegasse.
El apartamento está en el cuarto y último piso de una de las casas más antiguas y erhaltungswürdigsten del casco antiguo de Salzburgo. Con amor se restaura a las normas modernas y proporciona comodidad completa.
La casa fue construida en 1374 y es un edificio protegido. Por lo tanto no hay ascensor.
En las inmediaciones se encuentra el famoso Cafe Tomaselli, Catedral de Salzburgo, las salas de fiesta y Casa Natal de Mozart. Por la noche, los bares de moda y restaurantes de la ciudad están a poca distancia.
El transporte público se encuentra a pocos minutos a pie, la estación central de Salzburgo en unos 15 minutos en autobús o taxi. Los taxis se reduce a la casa. Se puede aparcar en el garaje Mönchsberg.

Amazing old building in an excellent location, spacious enough for 3 people and very clean. Great shower and all you needed in the kitchen to self cater. Would stay again.

Great apartment and exactly as advertised. Alice was excellent about communicating. Great location for both the sites in the Altstadt and the neustadt on the other side of the river. Our stay was super and would definitely stay there again and recommend as well.

Amazing Place!!!!!

Our stay was wonderful and exactly what we needed! This location could not have been better. We were so close to everything and could walk within minutes to shopping, food and sightseeing. This apartment was all about LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! I highly recommend this place if you want to be in the heart of city center in Salzburg.

We loved our stay here! It was a bit tricky for us to find at first, but once we reached our room we were all very happy to call this home for the next 2 nights. The room was clean and spacious. We had everything we needed. Location was great. Close to everything! Did get a little hit in there with no A/C…but otherwise great place!

Lovely apartment right in the center of Old Town. Very quiet at night. No complaints about the stairs as it’s like walking through a museum as you go up. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. Washer allowed me to pack light. Host was responsive to questions. Would love to stay again.

Great location with Character

The place was very nice both inside and where it was located. Definately take note of being on the 4th floor with no elevator. Normally would not have been a problem but my wife hurt her knee during our trip and had to walk up and down the 4 flights the whole time. But we would recommend this apartment. Had nice kitchenette to make smaller meals and there was a grocery store within walking distance.

Lovely and spacious apartment in super location. Kitchen fine. Good mattress. Nice to have washer and dryer. It is a four flight climb, but even stairwell is interesting. Could be warm in summer. Suggested they get a fan.

Wonderful stay in Old Town Salzburg

We loved our stay in this apartment in the historic, Old Town center of Salzburg! The apartment is beautiful, with excellent accommodations and amenities. We especially appreciated the washing machine, which was conveniently located right down the hall, with drying rack provided. The weather was very hot during our August stay, but a Dyson fan + windows kept us comfortable. This is a fantastic location for exploring historic Salzburg and attending the opera festival. Parking can be a challenge in this area, so we used one of the many Park & Rides - leaving our car outside city limits for a few days and riding the bus into town. This was both convenient and cost-effective. Overall, we had a great stay - highly recommended. Thank you!

Wonderfully Authentic

The apartment could not have been more centrally located. We were no more than 5 minutes away from any of the main sites in Old Town. The building has so much character it screamed history. It was a challenging climb up all of the stairs-especially with luggage and the stairs made it so that once we came down, we didn't want to go back up. The neighborhood can be a bit on the noisy side. Since you have to sleep with the windows open, the adjacent bar can be a bit loud and the street traffic (delivery trucks, etc) begin around 4:30. But-for the price and for the location I would stay here again!

Perfect Salzburg Location

The perfect location for a couple to visit Salzburg. We were minutes away from everything. The unit is a lovingly restored apartment in an historic building. Every detail is perfect. The bath is modern with a fabulous shower while the main room, the doors, lock sets and ceiling take you back centuries. The only warning, you must climb 4 narrow sets of stairs (approximately 80 steps) to reach the apartment. Carry on bags were difficult enough to navigate so beware if you have large or numerous luggage. I am 70 but in good condition; the stairs will be easier for those younger but the dimensions will not change. While we did not meet Alice she was a delight and prompt in all communications.

Excelente alojamiento con pésimo anfitrión

El alojamiento es tal y como se describe, ideal para alojarse en Salzburgo. El problema es la nula comunicación con el anfitrión. Las instrucciones para acceder que nos dio la anfitriona eran un código de acceso para la puerta de la calle y que dentro del apartamento, que estaría abierto, estaban las llaves. Al llegar a la puerta del inmueble nuestro código de acceso no abrió la puerta y lo mismo les ocurría a los huéspedes de otro de los apartamentos que estaban también en la puerta del inmueble. La anfitriona no respondió a nuestros mensajes a través de la mensajería de homeaway (no teníamos su teléfono, aunque se lo pedimos antes de ir y no nos lo facilitó), tampoco respondió a los otros huéspedes que sí tenían el teléfono. Al final pudimos acceder gracias a que un vecino nos abrió la puerta (este vecino nos dijo que el sistema de código no funcionaba.). Posteriormente con la llave que había en el apartamento ya pudimos abrir la puerta de la calle el resto de la estancia, pero la anfitriona jamás respondió a nuestros mensajes. Por lo que si no es por el vecino no hubiésemos podido acceder al apartamento, cosa que no parece haberle importado a la anfitriona.

WARM, INVITING, COMFORTABLE and PERFECT LOCATION

From beginning (booking) to end (departure) everything went/was perfection. Easy to book, great prompt communication, warm and homey, comfortable, well appointed with everything we could possibly need, right up to a drying rack for items we prefer to not dry in machine. Cutest little kitchen with two burner stove . . . felt like I could move right in long term and be perfectly happy👍🏼 Very pleasant experience in every way. Many thanks for the opportunity to stay.

Perfect location and ideal studio apartment

There is nothing like living in a space created in the 14th century yet having a modern bathroom and kitchen. The location is ideal. The only significant downside is that the parking garage is quite a walk and one cannot bring the car to the house such that one needs to be prepared to carry luggage for about 25 minutes.

3 days in Salzburg

Loved the building location and the charm of the unit, however the unit is a “walk-up” on the 4th floor. Access to convenient parking is also limited. But, again you are in the middle of all the action in Salzburg. All in all, I would recommend this unit!

Perfect Old Town Location

We loved staying at this VRBO property for 5 nights. Even thought it was warm and humid, the fan kept us as cool as we needed. The kitchen and bath are modern and well and we really appreciated authentic Old World aspects of the apartment and property.

Authentisch und geschmackvoll wohnen

In dem schönen alten Stadthaus, das in Brodgasse 3 (nicht wie angegeben Goldgasse 3) steht und authentisches Flair ausstrahlt, wohnten wir in Apartment Nr. 2 am vierten und letzten Stockwerk: sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet für einen hohen Wohlfühlfaktor. Leider funktionierte bei der Ankunft das Türöffnungssystem nicht; nur dank eines überaus freundlichen Hausbewohners kamen wir hinein! Auch die Nespresso-Maschine streikte, was wir Gott sei Dank sofort bemerkten, sodass wir uns zumindest mit Jacobs-Instantkaffee weiterhelfen konnten... : zwei kleine Wermutstropfen also, ansonsten alles perfekt! Für Gehtüchtige absolut empfehlenswert!

Exceeded expectations

I’ve learned to temper my expectations of vacation rentals based off of the pictures. This one was actually better than the pictures showed. The location is also right in the heart of the old town. The manager of the property seemed to have thought of everything. One thing we were unsure of prior to visiting was what the laundry situation was as we were in desperate need. There is a shared laundry among what appear to be a few other vacation rentals in the corridor on the same floor. All-in-all, this was a great place to stay.
