The home has two living rooms (one with gas fire place), two bedrooms, a bathroom and a master bathroom, kitchen with a large island with seating, dining area, a smaller single bedroom off the master bedroom, a mud room, desk area, lake side porch area and fire pit. Double wide driveway for parking. Walking distance to the lodge and bait shop. Lake of the Woods is known for the fishing. The area is a backyard for any outdoor enthusiast.

I have been living in beautiful northern MN for over 35 years. Before moving to the area, my family would make weekend trips throughout the summer to take in the relaxed atmosphere and the fantastic fishing on Lake of the Woods. It is something my brother and myself with our spouses have carried over to our children and their children.

Why they chose this property


At first site this property just had to be a part of the family. It was cozy and had character. It was built to be a cabin, but soon transformed into a year-round home. Reconstruction and additions have been made to the home without losing the warm cabin feel.

What makes this property unique

The home is near the island lodge, bait shop, and has docking available upon request. It is far enough away from the city lights, but near enough to visit and take in the dining, shopping, and festivities. A biking/running path, golf course, and casino are also within close range of travel.
