The next small coffee is 20m away. For everyday shopping there is an Aldi market (walking distance) and a Lidl market 5 minutes away by car. There are also various Portuguese supermarkets and shops nearby.

The fishing village of Sesimbra, where fishing nets are still laid out and repaired on the streets, is 10 minutes away. A fish market, great restaurants, wonderful, white sandy beach along the entire waterfront. At the western end there is a yacht / fishing port with busy boat traffic. Many water sports, historical buildings, castles, sights nearby, a year-round goal.

The cultural metropolis of Lisbon offers museums, churches, concerts, markets, shopping, exclusive restaurants and an interesting nightlife.

There are also trips to the nearby Arábida nature reserve, with some of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal (approx. 20 minutes by car). Cabo Espichel's, the western headland can be reached in 10 minutes by car.

If you prefer to experience the Atlantic with higher swell, you can go to the nearby west coast and to the approx. 20 km long beaches of Aldeia do Meco, where a nudist beach invites you to swim in the surf. Other attractions include the long sandy beaches on the Tróia peninsula on the other side of the Sado River, which can be reached by ferry every half hour; Golf: Close to several beautiful golf courses in Quinta do Peru, Aroeira and Troia.

Très bonnes vacances en famille près de la mer

Ce que nous avons apprécié : - les bons plans d'Ana et sa confiance. - la Wifi pour les ados - la magnifique piscine entretenue et le hamac - le patio abrité pour prendre les repas - la maison dans son ensemble, bien agencée - la literie confortable - les commerces à pied (boulangerie, poissonnerie, boucherie et supérette). Ce qui serait à améliorer : - l'annonce qui précise un parking privé mais auquel on n'a pas accès car occupé par les affaires du propriétaire ( il y a cependant un parking public juste derrière la maison à 30 secondes à pied) - l'équipement de la la cuisine car il n'y a pas de balance, de panier à salade ou de plat à tarte. Mais l'essentiel est là, c'est surtout pour ceux qui veulent cuisiner autre chose que la base. - un chariot pour faire ses courses à pied car on est à 10mn à pieds des petits commerces et cela aurait été sympa d'avoir cet équipement. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances et nous recommandons cette location, bien située entre activités nautiques et culturelles (40 mn de Lisbonne en voiture). Notre expérience préférée : découvrir la côte de Sesimbra en kayak de mer 😍.
