Located near airport, Lewisburg, Greenbrier River Trail, the Greenbrier Resort (15 min), Snowshoe Ski Area (75 min). Fun boutiques, antique stores as well as upscale shopping and casino at the Greenbrier Resort nearby.

***Actual GPS location is 749 Vago Rd, for location reference. Address was changed several years ago, but is not recognized by most GPS apps.

*** Entire home isn't available - the garage and back hallway are separate for the owners when owners are visiting from out of state. Not available for month long rentals. OWNERS WILL NOT BE ON SITE WHILE GUESTS ARE RENTING HOME. GUESTS HAVE COMPLETE PRIVACY.

The place was so cute and reminiscent of a country farm house. Our host was so sweet and we had the best time. Our dogs loved going out in the back fenced yard and seeing the wildlife was an added bonus.

Most peaceful property ever! The host responded quickly to questions before and during my stay.This quaint house has everything needed - kitchen well appointed, comfy beds with quilts, robes, great recliner, wonderful porch, views of beautiful mountains. The host is very responsive to any messages. The home was clean and had everything you needed. The area is fantastic, so close to everything but still has privacy. We rode the greenbrier rail trail and had a fantastic time. Definitely going back.

Simple place with all you need

This little country home is plain, clean and comfortable./, and it is just a short drive to Lewisburg. The view out the front window calms the soul, and the fenced yard is a wonderful amenity for those of us traveling with a dog. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Perfect

Perfect is the best way to describe my stay. The house was clean. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. The views were amazing from the house. Can't wait to go back.

Nice Quiet Location

I stayed for a few days here as time to get away from all the noise. It was a peaceful little property with all the amenities I needed and was close to stores. Downtown Lewisburg was adorable. I’d definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet little property.

Still a sweet spot out of the way yet close enough to restaurants and a Walmart! Love the view from the kitchen window. The owner is super easy to communicate with.

Quiet and quaint

The view from the porch was beautiful. You feel tucked away from the world but town is a short trip. Lots of options for food and shopping. This was our second stay and we were not disappointed. Communication with the owner is very good.

A slice of "almost heaven" in WV

The house and property were perfect! Quiet, peaceful, spectacular views. Great walks with historic chapel nearby. Huge kitchen, huge front porch, fenced in yard for our little doggie where she played with fireflies every evening. Terrific experience!

Nice old country home

We were staying in the area to visit Lewisburg for the chocolate festival as well as some of the outdoor activities available such as spelunking. This is an older country home with its charm, including a non working outhouse! I really liked it because it kept us out of the busyness of downtown Lewisburg and gave me some great opportunities for some nice pictures!

Relaxing weekend

Melanie has a precious home in a beautiful corner of West Virginia. The porch over looks rolling hills with grazing cows and she had everything we needed in the home to cook, watch movies etc. thanks again!!

West by God

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! It’s the perfect distance to be out of the busyness of town, but close enough to get to multiple areas in a short amount of time. The backyard was perfect for our dogs too! We decided to come from south Georgia in the middle of a nasty winter storm, but stayed nice and warm! Thank you Melanie!

Even better than last time

No complaints. Everything was in order and all of our needs were met. Our dogs LOVE the fenced in backyard. We spent a lot of time on the front porch enjoying the view. We saw lots of deer and there was a double rainbow one day. Loved it.
