We had a lovely one week stay at Jeanne and Murray's beautiful home. Was surprised to see the road signs for the area came under Historic district and came complete with old lantern style streetlights, lovely when lit up at night. Home was very comfortable with high end fittings and accessories, very clean and spacious. Great shower in large bathroom! Enjoyed sitting out on the front and back patios although did find it rather hot during the day as we are not used to such high heat. I cooked every night as it was so easy to do so and Jeanne had loaned me her cafetiere and casserole dish, which was very kind of her, all put to good use. I loved looking out of the kitchen window at the view and was amazed to see one morning a grey fox? followed by at least a dozen small birds walking past. Saw the same animal presumably some days later one late afternoon from the swimming pool loping across the grass! The pool was only feet away from the home and the perfect temperature plus so calm and relaxing as most afternoons had it all to ourselves. Location was spot on too as so easy to get around plus had Safeway and Walmart only few minutes drive away. The canal path across the street made for a good walk as well. A very friendly community and we had a good few chats with fellow residents.Jeanne and Murray were very attentive hosts and got in touch a few times asking if things are ok and could they help in any way?A lovely home in a great location. Recommended.
