Knotty By Nature is nestled at the end of a private driveway with a flat level parking area. The peaceful setting is tucked into a mountainous landscape yet, close to Pigeon Forge, Gatlingburg and Wears Valley. The open living area features a fireplace, pool table, 65” TV and queen sofa bed. The master bedroom is spacious with a queen log bed, 47” TV and armoire. The back deck features two rockers, swing and private hot tub. This cabin is a perfect romantic getaway to the Smoky Mountains!

The time i spent at the cabin knotty by nature me and my partner had a fantastic time the only downside was the water pressure sucked, leading up to the cabin it had no roadside signs to let you know when to turn.

Cozy cabin with fun decor! Everything on one level was a plus! Owner was very quick to respond! It was perfect for our little get away!

Beautiful but had issues

Just want to start off by saying the place is beautiful! I was very excited when we first got there. After a long 6 hour drive, my girls and I were looking forward to getting into the hot tub. There was no water in it. I was given instructions on how to fill it and heat it up. After filling it, it drained again so I had to find the breaker and shut it off. Don’t feel like I should have had to do that. Someone came the next day to fix it, but that, overall, was disappointing. Then, the thermostat to the cabin was set on cold before we got there and we found out the hard way when we woke up and it was 51 degrees in there. My girls and I were freezing. It took me putting the heat on, the fireplace, and opening the oven, that I set at 450, to get it warmed up enough to shower in 2.5 hours. I mentioned to the owner that there was only the thin comforter and a throw for the couch. I asked for more blankets and was told that I could purchase one and she would reimburse me. Not my responsibility and this upset me even further, after dealing with the other issues. Next, I noticed that they didn’t have many dishes to use. Come to find out, they did, but they were all dirty in the dishwasher from someone else!! And the dishwasher didn’t even work. There was sticky stuff on the laundry room floor, the tv was smeared, no pillow case on one of the pillows, and the bed was kind of hard. All these last things I wouldn’t even mention if I didn’t have all of the other issues. I’ve stayed at places not as nice or as pricey as this one and gave them 5 stars and a good review! This was all just disappointing overall. I’m just thankful that our activities in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg were amazing!!

Amazing cabin but needs a little TLC.

It was a beautiful house but on the first morning in the home my fiance broke her hand. The dishwasher in the home isn't mounted to the counter top. so when you open it the whole dishwasher falls forward and she got her hand stuck behind it. When she pulled her hand free it broke her 3rd metocarpol in her hand. This was a freak accident but had the dishwasher bin mounted properly this would not have happened. Over all it was a great cabin just needs a little tlc.
