Peace and quiet in the Pays d'Oust and Brocéliande regions

A peaceful house nestled between land and sea, ideal for a relaxing family holiday. Surrounded by greenery, it's home to deer, squirrels, and numerous bird species. Located near Brocéliande, a land of tales and legends, it offers tranquility and authenticity while being a perfect base for exploring south-central Brittany. We are Ghislain and Gwenaëlle, your hosts. Our house, where we love to recharge, was built between 2023 and 2024. We invested a great deal of time and energy in its design and construction to ensure it was simple to live in, bright, and pleasant every day. We wanted to create an atmosphere where the indoors and outdoors blend seamlessly, giving the feeling of being "inside-outside," immersed in nature. We hope you will feel this atmosphere as you enjoy the open-plan living room and spacious kitchen. We installed the insulation ourselves using bio-based materials – Steicoflex wood wool panels – providing comfort and performance in both summer and winter. Hot water is supplied by a thermodynamic water heater, ensuring economical and environmentally friendly consumption. By choice, we have not installed an internet box or television in the main ground-floor room to encourage disconnection and fully enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. Upstairs, an open-plan living area is set up for entertainment, with a television, a Blu-ray/DVD player, a selection of films, and board games for sharing good times. We pride ourselves on respecting our neighbors and the tranquility of the village. Most of our neighbors are retirees who wish to enjoy a peaceful daily life. Thank you for respecting this peace and quiet. We believe that each traveler must be responsible with their screen time and internet searches, therefore we do not provide internet access. Guests will need to secure their own internet access using 4G or 5G tethering. Thank you for your understanding.
