Family time on the Bayou. Bring your boat or jet skis. Less than 10 minutes from Kemah & Seabrook. Three minute drive to Galveston Bay. Five minutes from Sylvan Beach. This house will feel home for your family/friends vacation. Open floor concept from the beautiful kitchen, dining room & living room with 85" Smart TV. The kids will enjoy the spiral staircase to the upper level for their own space with two queen beds, a futon and 55" TV. The master bedroom has a king size bed and 55" Smart TV. The second room has a twin over a double, a second double with plenty of space and 55" Smart TV. No boat/jet ski lift or drop on property. The ramps are nearby at Sylvan Beach, five minutes away!

Best property ever!

I absolutely loved staying at the property. It was so beautiful inside and out. There was so much space and room for everyone to sleep. I loved the privacy of property and how clean everything was when we arrived. I will definitely be staying here again! The bathroom downstairs was so convenient. You didn’t have to go back upstairs for the restroom when everyone was hanging out downstairs. Loved that there was space for all our cars and loved the wraparound porch. The lake was fun to look at as well. Definitely recommend this property!

We rented the house for a small wedding for my daughter. While the house and location were beautiful, expect to be charged for every extra by the owner.

Intimate wedding ceremony/ reception

My husband, family and I had an absolutely blast over this weekend...This home is beautiful inside and out from the sprial stairway to the private dock looking over the canals. The reception was held outside under the home on the huge open pad which was great for the heat and creating a nice breeze we had no complaints at all not even about mosquitoes. The host are very nice and helpful. Their communication and response time is excellent...I literally can't think of anything bad to say we really had a wonderful time...I would definitely stay here again and I also recommend this home to anyone!

Nice although misleading

The photos on line are deceiving. I thought I was getting a place that was secluded. It wasn’t. It’s on a major road and surrounded by other houses and industries. The place was nicely furnished and we enjoyed the on-site fishing even though it too was deceiving. On mullet and hard heads I’m afraid. But was still enjoyed ourselves.

Memorial weekend wedding

Our stay was excellent. The property was just as described. There was plenty of space to entertain family that was coming in from out of town for my son’s wedding. The grounds were perfect for taking wedding photos before heading to the ceremony. The weekend was very busy and hectic due to the wedding but I would definitely like to stay here again just to relax and enjoy some time off.

Perfect For My Sister's Wedding Reception

Dixie was so responsive, friendly and easy to work with! The property was exactly what my family wanted for my sister's small outdoor wedding reception-- beautiful tall trees, level lawn, water side, and it had a great covered space under the main house in case of rain. The inside of the house was even more beautiful than pictured: open concept, large kitchen, great living room space, all kept very clean. Highly recommend this location for any sort of family vacation or small event...my sister's wedding day was absolutely beautiful :) Thank you!

Best Easter Ever

We loved it so much we added an extra day! Morning coffees in the peace and tranquillity, games at a giant kitchen table family dinners made in the kitchen while my kids and husband played games and I watched on... it was the perfect staycation! Truly a little peace of heaven! I grew up in this town and wanted to go back home for the weekend (even though I only live 45 minutes away) and I was so glad I did... definitely hope to rent again soon!

Amazing home on the river

This home has everything we were looking for our vacation. The home is absolutely beautiful with plenty of room for everyone to gather or spread out if they prefer. The hosts were very responsive. The fishing was excellent. We saw deer, cardinals, egrets and fish. The outdoor space is very large and open. There is an outdoor shower and bathroom if you decide to swim or have a nice meal and enjoy the beautiful weather. It is covered so you can still enjoy it during the rain. The location is fantastic, so close to beaches, the Space Center and the Kemah Boardwalk. We only wish we stayed longer. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the area or looking for a relaxing retreat.
