True serenity awaits at this gorgeous lakefront abode. Your waterfront haven presents impressive views from the living and dining areas, as well as the spacious deck. Use the firepit by the lake. The fenced yard is ideal for kids who need to stretch their legs. Inside this welcoming home, find an open floor plan with wood floors, fresh furnishings, and thoughtful decor. A convenient home office is appointed with two desks, a selection of board games, and a sofa bed. After fun-filled days, unwind for movie nights in the living area. Or concoct a midnight snack in the sparkling kitchen, fitted with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Added perks of this getaway include a TV in both bedrooms, a baby changing station in the guest bedroom, complimentary WiFi, and partial air-conditioning.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Dock details: take the access road on the right hand side of the house and stay to the left. This will take you to the dock and fire pit/picnic area. Boats and RV are NOT for guest use.

Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Serenity is the perfect name for this place. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Counted the different birds we could hear; geese, crows, jays, red-winged blackbird, Kingfisher, dove.... Coffee on the deck each morning and wine each evening and times in between. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of nice windows. Comfortable bed. Delicious fish and fried oysters from the Crazy Norwegian. We could often hear the waves crashing off in the distance. It was very clean. One of the few places we have ever stayed where walking around in our sock feet didn't turn them black. Excellent cleaning of the floors. Will look forward to returning in the future.

Not clean, but full refund - the location is very private and next to the lake but at the end of a dirt road lined with RVs and potentially unsafe I wanted to stay by

Great location, amazing view, house needs some TLC

There are a lot of things to love about this lake home. The location is fantastic, a beautiful view of Garrison Lake, close to activities in Port Orford and a nice home base to explore the area. The road is very quiet and private and it was so peaceful to wake up to the sounds of nature all around. The house is well outfitted with supplies and the beds are comfortable. There are several points of the house that are rundown or need a good cleaning. All the baseboards are filthy, the shower has green slime and the rubber sealant is coming off. A couple of the bathroom towels had a mildew smell to them. The door handle to the stove fell off when opening it, there are loose drawer handles and missing clothing hooks that are just broken off. Additionally the deck railing doesn't feel secure and was loose in one area that left an exposed rusty screw. The house could use a deep cleaning and a handyman to do some general repairs. Lastly I booked through VRBO but the reservation also went through Vacasa. I got communication from both companies which I found a little frustrating and slightly confusing.

Nice place, beautiful

We stayed for a week to celebrate my birthday. We loved taking our canoe over to the ocean to look for agates at Agate beach. We caught some fish right from the shore also. Everything worked and the king bed was very comfortable. It was fun to walk to town for food and seeing lots of deer along the way. We will definitely be be back.

Comfy space for getting together with friends and family

I loved the open floor plan with a nice big kitchen, large table and sectional sofa. The lakeside views were beautiful. Port Orford is a magical place and we were so happy with every aspect of our stay in this picturesque and wildly beautiful coastal town, including our spacious, clean and comfy accommodations.

A great place to enjoy family time!

We loved the open feel with lots of natural light. The beds were comfortable. The fenced yard is great if you have littles or doggies. When you first drive in you might wonder if your going to have privacy . It was very quiet and private. It was very stormy so we didn't make it down to the lake. We did have coffee on the lovely covered deck looking down on the lake.We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful spot

The house is in a great spot. Things were clean. The bed in the main bedroom is quite worn out and saggy, the washing machine didn’t work and the ramp down needs some grip tape put on it. My girlfriend slipped and fell really bad. She wasn’t seriously injured but was bruised and sore the rest of the trip. I informed the property manager about the washing machine and only got a generic response from Vacasa.

Modular home experience.

The place had not been cleaned very well. Location is good. Quiet little town. Going to the beach is the main recreation in the area.

Nice Place to Stay On Garrison Lake

House has a great view over Garrison Lake and access down to a really nice grassy areas by the water. Was clean and well setup. Easy drive / bike / walk into town or to the beach.

Cozy and private

The home provided us with all amenities. The furniture was comfortable and functional. The yard was perfect for the dogs. The deck was a great spot to enjoy the view, and the lakefront was amazing. I only wish we brought our kayaks! The house is centrally located, close enough to walk to town.

The Gift of Peace & Serenity

I will start with the positives, because they definitely outweighed the negatives & we are pretty picky. We came to this home after a very intense & stressful time & it was exactly what we needed to rest, relax & decompress. It’s located at the end of a private road so the only traffic is the occasional meandering boat on beautiful Garrison lake. This place was the most quiet, peaceful place we’ve ever stayed. Just the sounds of nature is all you’ll here most of the time. There is a small RV/trailer campground with maybe 8 spaces on the property on the road as you drive in but everyone staying there was very quiet & kept to themselves with an occasional smile & wave as we drove in & out. But other than that it was as if no one else was there. We also had access to a private beach area down below with picnic tables & a fire pit. If you’ve got a kayak or an easy to launch boat it would be perfect! We only slept in the king bed, but found it to be very comfy. We like a softer bed, so if you are looking for a firm bed you might not like it. We felt the queen mattress & it felt similar. The couch was comfy for the multitude of naps we took as we drifted off staring at the beautiful view or while we watched the large TV. It’s an open floor plan so it was nice to have everything in one area as I prepped meals. It’s a modular home. The counters aren’t granite as much as granite looking, which wasn’t as issue but found it funny that I think the listing says they are granite. It has a nice sized tub, but we found that it may need a new faucet because the water didn’t really stay hot enough to fill up the tub-we had a similar issue in our house. The water in the shower stayed hot without issue. The stall shower is very tight, but gets the job done. Our biggest issue was the pet urine odor. It was definitely from a dog thankfully & not a cat. We figured out the main culprit was the area rug in the living room. Once we removed that it was much better, but we were still getting random whiffs of it while sitting on the couch. We had some Febreeze with us that we sprayed & we used a couple of the extra sheets to cover the couch while we were there. The property management was VERY helpful & responsive. We’ve stayed in a lot of vacation homes so we know there are always some issues, especially in pet-friendly homes. The home was clean, but a deep clean of the couch would be good. All that aside, we LOVED our stay here & would stay again!
