Wonderful Friends Vacation

We enjoyed our stay in the hills. Once we got to the location we had an amazing view and enough privacy to enjoy our times with friends and family. Our porch allowed us to see wild deer daily and be a relaxing spot to have our dogs roam.

The open floor plan was great and allowed for easy movement with our family of 6.

The overall experience was nice. We enjoyed the property and the managers. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the views were amazing. We did miss having a washer/dryer. The access to the river and the local night life was nice.

What a view!

We had a wonderful time, and the house was excellent, From the deers nearby and the amazing view overlooking the Frio River. This house will go down as one of our favorites. - I did have trouble with a lock from the laundry room, but Mrs.Maggie came over quickly to help! Overall, we highly recommend it!

Thanksgiving Getaway

We loved the house, it was very nice, clean, and lots of room! They provide you with everything you can think of. Nice kitchen to prepare our Thanksgiving feast! The balcony was huge and we enjoyed sitting out to watch the sunset and wildlife coming by to eat the corn! Enjoyed hiking as well. Maggie Cook the property manager was very nice and friendly, very accommodating. Our two Westies enjoyed the cabin as well! We will be coming back during the summer.

Beautiful view

The view from this property is what made the stay. The pictures don’t do the view justice! The rest of the property was mostly as described. My only complaint is that the property had appeared to not have been swept after a previous renter had brought pets - there were clumps of dog hair found in almost all of the rooms. There also was a very large clump of hair in the upstairs closet that looked like someone cleaned out their hair brush and left it. I also would suggest the homeowner wash the quilts provided as there were bodily fluids on some of them and pet hair. We brought our own bedding so this wasn’t a big issue, but it was a bit off-putting. Otherwise, the location is great to Concan and there was plenty of room for two families comfortably. We enjoyed the outside areas and the star gazing from this location is great!

Thank you for your comments. We continually strive to provide the best environment for our guests. Our cleaning crews are trained and also strive to leave the houses as clean as possible, utilizing some of the Covid procedures that we had in place during that period of time. Our sincere apologies if there was anything not to your satisfaction. We would have been happy to come over and touch up anything you needed. Sincerely, Maggie @ Casa Rio 830-333-0001
