The location was fantastic, just a short walk to miles of beach. The property is a little worn and had the most minimal of toiletries. If you’re planning on cooking, you’ll need to bring everything (only salt and pepper was provided plus some coffee). The washing machine door was broken, window blinds a mess, and sofa cushion torn. Communication was through a rental company who were sometimes responsive and other times not so much. But, it was a good value so I guess you get what you pay for.

We loved the location of this cozy beach cottage. It was so close to the beach. Very nicely decorated, clean, and enough room for us all. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

Very disappointed in the cleaning crew. We arrived to find fresh blood droplets going up the stairs to the house. I reached out and asked for it to be cleaned/disinfected and was told they would send someone out…that never happened!

Though the space is tight the value for the price was great. The location was perfect for us. Our only issue with the bathroom was resolved immediately. We would definitely return.

Charming Beach Retreat

Amazing cottage in a beautiful location with easy access to beach only a short walk away. Perfect for a vacation getaway, setup nicely with all of the ammenities. Historic Galveston, Pleasure Pier and other attractions are only a short drive away. Highly recommend!!!

Great stay!

We stayed a night after coming back from a cruise. There was 6 of us (3 under 12) and we had a wonderful time! Beach access wqs was great and we roasted marshmallows in the fire pit! Our family had an amazing stay. Thank you!

Close to beach and town.

We enjoyed the house. We chose it for the location right past the seawall, so we would have easy access to the beach without being to far from town.

Nice place to stay and very close to the beach. With only one bathroom, I would not recommend a family bigger than 4. Some feedback for improvement would be to add a coffee table to the seating area as we had to sit in the floor to pay games and nowhere to put our plates when we ate. The cleaning service used is anything but thorough. We usually wipe down the house when we go, but our wipes were all grey, stains on the blinds and walls, and the floor probably hadn’t been moped in some time. Plenty of towels but no bath soap so bring your own. We would absolutely stay here again though.
