Copper Mountain Condo Rental Photos and Description

Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

Tucker Mountain Lodge is one of four buildings in the Center Village at Copper Mountain and is located just steps away from the American Eagle and American Flyer high speed quad lifts and the new outdoor Climbing Wall. Designed as a rustic backcountry retreat, entering the warm and inviting lobby of Tucker Mountain Lodge will make you feel like you've just stepped into a historic National Park Lodge!

Just beyond the lobby, you’ll find a heated, secure locker room for your skis, steam & sauna rooms, a large outdoor hot tub, and a fitness center that features a weight machine, two exercise bikes, a treadmill, and an elliptical trainer.

Our condo is beautifully decorated with a winter lodge theme, which is highlighted by a warm river rock fireplace. We have created a haven with all the luxuries of home and then some: coffee maker, crock pot, ample dining ware and utensils, newer furniture, paint and carpet. The kitchen is beautifully tiled and open to the dining and living areas. There is a four-burner stove with full-size oven, a microwave, full-size refrigerator and a dishwasher.

The family room has a flat-screen TV with a DVD player. There is a brand new sectional sofa that converts to a queen-sized convertible bed. It's incredibly comfortable for a convertible bed. There is also a television with full cable in the bedroom, which is perfect for the grown-ups while the kids sleep in the other room!

The outdoor balcony overlooks the hot-tub area, and offers great views of the slopes.

Our condo is at the end of a hallway, so you never have to listen to people walking by your door. It is also far from the elevator, so elevator noise will never keep you up at night! One spot in an underground heated parking garage is included – so unload your luggage and take an elevator straight to the condo without having to go outside!

Once you're settled, explore the center village where you'll find shops, ice skating, great dining, bars and night clubs. Everything you'll need is within walking distance from our condominium. While you are just 75 yards from the lifts of Center Village, a free shuttle will take you to any other lifts in Copper Mountain's Union Creek or East Village.

This property is in one of the Village’s newest buildings and therefore it is well maintained, highly appointed, and extremely homey. You will feel right at home!

Nearby ski areas include: A-Basin, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Vail. Our condo is conveniently close to the towns of Frisco, Breckenridge, Silverthorne, Dillon, Keystone and Vail.

There is also coin-operated laundry and an ice machine located in the building. This is a non-smoking unit and pets are not allowed. A 3-night minimum stay is required on weekends. I will entertain a 2-night reservation if it fills a 2-night gap in my calendar.

About The Owner

We bought this condominium when it was first built, when our oldest son was just a baby. Now our family has grown to include three boys who all LOVE to ski! We live just outside of Boulder, and we try to get up to Copper as often as we can. If our boys had their way, we'd LIVE at Copper Mountain all winter long. When we can't use our condo ourselves, we like to open it up to others, in hopes that others can create the same type of wonderful memories we've been able to make!

The Owner purchased this condo in 2000

Why The Owner chose Northwest

Copper Mountain has always been our favorite skiing location in Colorado. There's a mountain for every level of skier (I admit, I'm much less adventuresome than my boys!), the landscape is gorgeous, and it's a short drive from home. We love coming up here in the summer as well as the winter because there is so much to do! Hiking, biking, fishing, and lots of organized festivities make this a great year-round destination.

What makes this condo unique

We love that once we park our car in the garage, we rarely take it out until its time to go home. Everything here is within walking distance - not only amazing skiing, but also great restaurants, shops, nightlife, etc. We love being able to come inside for a nice warm homemade lunch to break up a day of skiing. And curling up next to the fireplace and playing a board game or doing a jigsaw puzzle with the family is a perfect way to end a great day on the slopes!

Perfect Location and Condo!

  • 5 of 5

Great location with underground parking that is wonderful! Walking distance to all the restaurants, coffee shops. The little village is so cute and literally down the flight of stairs! The gondola is right there as well! We loved it so much that we will be back with the kids! Condo is comfortable and nice, but we really didn't spend a lot of time in it as there where so many little resort towns in the area we spent a day at each! It was our anniversary and they left a nice bottle of wine for us. We had a wonderful getaway! Thank you!!

Very good.

  • 4 of 5

Property was good minus a broken burner and some cleaning needed in bathroom (vents and mold). However, the kids loved the memory foam mattress topper on the pullout and slept comfortably. My husband is 6'3" so his feet hung off the master bed a little, but I was great :). Accommodations were comfortable and nice.

I wish there had been some salt and nonstick spray or oil so we did not have to buy at the local market. Great amount of pans and utensils. I appreciated the ice trays and cold fridge.

There was enough room for the 4 of us for the week. We loved being able to walk downstairs and be right in the midst of shops and food. The kids loved it! Location was awesome and was totally worth it. Also loved having the hot tub right downstairs.

The garage access was also wonderful so we could load and unload easily. There was also bike storage for our bikes so we could lock them up and rest easy. It took a lot of stress off without worrying about storage or keeping the bikes mounted.

All in all, We would stay here again. Thanks for a great trip!

Owner's Response: Hello Ashley: I’m glad your family had a great trip! As for the broken burner, thanks for letting me know about that. We do plan to replace all kitchen appliances (oven, refrigerator and dishwasher) at the end of the month. Regarding the cleanliness of the bathroom, I’m assuming the mold you are referring to is the tiny black patch that has gotten into the caulking in one corner of the shower. This has proven to be impossible to remove with bleach, so we will be replacing all of the bathroom caulking at the end of the summer season. I did just ask the housekeeping folks to thoroughly clean the vents in the walls and on the ceiling, and they confirmed it was just dust – no mold in there. There is a small cupboard to the left of the oven that contains salt, pepper, coffee, filters, sugar, powdered creamer, cooking spray, etc. Perhaps someone had put something back in the wrong place that blocked those things, but I always try to make sure those items are fully stocked. I’m happy that overall you had a great vacation - we’d love to have you back again soon! - Tamra

We truly enjoyed our stay in the Tucker Mtn. Lodge condo. It was comfortable, well equipped and had wonderful mountain views. This added to our over-all experience while attending a wedding at Copper Mtn. Thank you for making your unit available to us! Even before our arrival the e-mail directions were easy to understand and key pick up simple. We enjoyed the many shops and restaurants within walking distance of the condo. Sincerely Ann Sears

Wish we were still there

  • 5 of 5

I had not been to Copper Mountain before this trip, so being in a place with front-row view of the ski slopes was cool, even in summer. The condo was as described, clean, with all the basic kitchen and bathroom amenities. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water (important after a day of Ride the Rockies). I am a complete germaphobe, so I really appreciated the CLEAN shower curtain -- not a hint of mold or mildew on it! The brand new bed was just wonderful, not too hard, not too soft. We did not use the hot tub, which was right below the unit; we could hear users, but everyone observed the quiet hours so no problem with sleep. Tamra was always available via email/phone/text when I had questions, and contacted us on day of arrival to make sure key pickup and getting into the condo went smoothly. Now that we are having a heat wave down here, I sure wish we had stayed a few extra days up there in Tam's comfy condo!

A little slice of heaven.

  • 5 of 5

This place was great, just as it was described. The owner let us know there was a brand new mattress in the bedroom and boy was it comfortable. Close to everything and it had everything we needed to have a perfect weekend getaway. It was a great fit for our family of 4. Kids loved the rock-climbing wall and the zipline over the lake. Property owner was very responsive to our questions. Will definitely be back.
