Fun!

My kids and I had a blast at this property! The property was immaculate and comfortable. The three pools, especially the ocean pool, were a huge hit for my kids. The property is perfectly located near a grocery store and restaurants. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Wonderful location to explore Kona from

Wonderful two bedroom condo in a quiet area. You feel like you are the only people on the bay when you are sitting on the lanai enjoying dinner as the sun sets. Or watch the sunset from the ocean pool and then grill your dinner to enjoy from the lanai while you listen to the waves rolling into shore.

Kanaloa 3301 is a delight. The view of the small bay is beautiful, the kitchen and baths updated, and the beds very comfortable. Having AC is also nice as the afternoons can get a bit warm inside. We had a great month enjoying all the amenities close by.

Great view in a great place

We’ve just finished having a wonderful experience staying in this condo. The view from the lanai was beautiful, with the sunrise greeting you in the morning, shade in the afternoon and the sunset flooding the vista with color each evening. This unit is comfortable and quiet and just the right size for a family or couples needing a great base while visiting the “Bid Island”. Stay here with confidence! Mahalo and Aloha”

Nice Condo & Great Location - But beware of AC Limitations & Noise from Upstairs Unit

We are frequent renters at Kanaloa at Kona and absolutely love the location and complex. In general, we enjoyed our recent stay in this unit (3301), but there were a few notable issues. First, the positives: The condo was nicely decorated, very clean (see comment below), and in a great location in the complex with beautiful views of He'eia Bay and the inlet to Keauhou Bay. There were a few issues during our stay, however, that made it less pleasant than most other times we've stayed at Kanaloa: First, when we first entered the condo, the scent from the cleaning agents used by the cleaning team was absolutely overwhelming. It smelled like high concentration Pine-Sol or something like that. The scent was soo strong that it gave a couple of our guests headaches and they had to stay outside for hours. We opened up all the doors and windows (except when the AC was on), and the smell eventually dissapated after a day or so. By-far the biggest issue during our visit, is that you cannot set the temperature to your liking when using the AC ... it is either on or off. The temperature is controlled by the owner's guidleines (and was set too high for our liking). Although the instruction binder on the coffee table says that the AC is set to 76 degrees, it was not ... it was set to 78. The property manager had it reduced to 76 the next day, but it was still too hot to sleep comfortably for any of us. I would have much rather paid extra each day to control the temp myself.

Great central location

Location was ideal! Close to beaches, shopping and a lot of activities. Our first time in Hawaii and we were very pleased with our accommodations. Will recommend to friends and family.

Beautiful home in excellent location

My partner and I greatly enjoyed our stay. The property is newly renovated, very clean and comfortable, and located in a perfect corner of the big island. Check-in was easy and hassle-free. Would highly recommend to any and all considering. My only complaint is that the air conditioning was stuck at 77 degrees during our stay and we did not have the ability to change it. The property was perfectly comfortable during the daytime hours but for people who sleep hot you may want to keep this in mind. All in all though, this was an excellent place to stay!

great place on the Kona Coast

This lovely condo has all you need and is close to groceries, a small swimming beach and restaurants. Listen to the waves and spend time watching for whales on the lanai.

Beautiful accommodations

We are thrilled we found these accommodations on the Big Island. What a beautiful place. Our condo was clean with a lanai overlooking the water. Stunning views! Great location. Fifteen minutes from the Kona shops but groceries and gas and other restaurants within minutes. Pools are beautiful and clean. Assigned covered parking spot which is a PLUS! And the staff was so kind and accommodating when our flight was cancelled and needed to stay 2 extra nights which we greatly appreciated.

Perfect Stay!

This was a perfect getaway for my wife and I. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kanaloa at Kona. The unit is well decorated/designed and very homey and the views of the ocean are perfect. Location is convenient to shopping and only 5 minutes away from Keahou Harbor. Darrell is a superb host and very responsive in answering any questions. Looking forward to coming back and staying again!!

Second home in Hawaii

This is a lovely property with all the amenities one could want. We loved staying here and look forward to returning soon. When a property makes you feel like it’s home, it’s definitely the property for you. When we had a maintenance issue (user error) there was a quick response. Wonderful place

Check-in easy. Beautiful grounds and the unit very tastefully decorated with all furnishings/amenities in good shape. Easy access to grocery store. Short drive to downtown Kona. Wonderful view from the Lanai. Enjoyed much time at the oceanfront pool. Easy communication with the property manager. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Condo

Beautiful condo with a sweeping view of the bay. We so enjoyed our stay at this condo. It's well-appointed with the kitchen stocked with your holiday essentials. The condo is very quiet, and we loved the view from the deck with a large outside table outside. Condo is also stocked for the beach with chairs, cooler and umbrella.

Great stay in Kona!

We loved our stay at this unit in October. We were there for my cousin's wedding and it was the perfect place for the family to rent multiple units in the same complex. This unit was really nice. We appreciated the quick response when we were having some trouble with electrical outlets and a microwave. We hope to return!

Peaceful getaway

Great location, and amazing view. This condo is tucked in the corner by the water, and provides for a very peaceful setting. The staff at the property is very friendly, and the owner is very easy to work with and incredibly responsive. The condo has everything you need. Highly recommend!

Perfect Condo for Relaxing

Our condo was so well-equipped and comfortable. The view of the bay was wonderful. We enjoyed the quiet and pools tremendously. The convenience to the shopping center was awesome. It was nice to be further from Kailua-Kona area, which was much busier, but we still went to the restaurants there.
