Inicio de registro personalizado: limpio, espacioso y a solo 4 millas del centro de Seward.

Esta es una hermosa casa de troncos a medida ubicada a las afueras del centro de Seward. Los propietarios anteriores pasaron diez años construyendo la casa, y cortaron y pelaron a mano todos los troncos. Es una verdadera obra de arte de Alaska, y no hay nada igual en el área de Seward.

Compramos la casa en 2007 y vivimos en un pequeño apartamento sobre el garaje separado de la propiedad. Por lo tanto, estamos a su disposición para ayudarlo con actividades e información locales y para asegurarnos de que aproveche al máximo sus vacaciones. Tenemos dos perros que viven con nosotros y juegan en el patio, pero no están permitidos en la casa de troncos.

Esta casa ofrece un hogar lejos del hogar muy cómodo mientras viaja, con todas las comodidades. La cocina completa está disponible para su uso, hay grandes áreas comunes: una gran chimenea de pizarra rodeada de sofás de cuero, TV / VCR / DVD / computadora de Internet de alta velocidad / Wi-Fi / estéreo, una parrilla y bañera de hidromasaje en el frente grande cubierta, una pequeña cubierta trasera cubierta, etc. Ahora tenemos una lavadora / secadora para uso de los huéspedes, ¡todo nuevo en 2017! Seward Getaway

Such an excellent property with tons of thoughtful touches and minutes from downtown Seward. We had a wonderful time enjoying the lodge feel and relaxing in the hot tub after two days of outdoor adventures. Communication with hosts was excellent and checkin in and out was a breeze. Have already recommended the property to other friends and family wanting to come to Seward in the future.

Perfect getaway at the foot of Kenai Fjords

Clean luxury cabin for a group trip to Seward! The host was helpful and available, and the cabin is a great place to cook out and use the hot tub during the midnight sun. Very comfortable with short drive to Seward town and Kenai Fjords. Can easily fit a large group comfortably.

Honestly - perfection! This home is gorgeous and not a single detail was missed. It's super comfy and spacious. We had 9 people and we weren't even remotely cramped. The owners are amazing! You will NOT regret staying here!

A gem of a retreat in the woods

A great space to relax and spend as much time together as a family or spend time on your own in private spaces or rooms. A lovely porch in the tranquil woods and a delightful hot tub. Best of all, great owners and really great touches all around the property. We had all we needed and more to cook and enjoy ourselves. I would stay here again with a big group.

Amazing Home Away From Home

We had an incredible experience staying at Bear Paw Lodge in Seward, AK. The home was extremely spacious and comfortably accommodated our group of five—four adults and one child. With four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, each equipped with its own shower, everyone had plenty of room and privacy, making our stay even more enjoyable.The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook all our meals—cookware, utensils, and appliances were all provided.The laundry room was super convenient during our multi-day trip. One of our favorite ways to wind down each evening was relaxing in the hot tub, which held a consistent and soothing 108F—absolutely perfect after long days of fishing and sightseeing.The property’s location was ideal—only five minutes from downtown Seward, close to shops, restaurants, and the harbor, while still feeling quiet and peaceful.

Perfect stay, very close to Seward

Our family of 8 adults had the best time staying at this cabin! It is even better than in the photos. Beds were comfy, lots of gathering spaces, very well-equipped. We especially loved the hot tub. Thanks for a great stay! Highly recommend!

We've lived in Seward since 2002, and absolutely love the area and the people! We owned and operated Kayak Adventures Worldwide through the summer 2014 season, and during those years Bear Paw Lodge was run as a B&B. It was a great lodging option for our clients, and others traveling to the area. Now that we've transitioned away from running Kayak Adventures, we've turned our log home into a vacation rental.

One of our favorite parts of traveling is meeting all the wonderful people. By living on the property and running the lodge, we're able to bring that aspect of travel right to our own back yard! It's such a pleasure to meet the people who stay here, and to assist them in maximizing their time in Seward.

We love the outdoors... and whenever we're not working on projects around the house, you can find us hiking, biking, running, fishing, kayaking, or even strumming our instruments around a campfire. Life is good in Seward, and we hope to share that with you!!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We were both originally drawn to Seward for the kayaking and the lifestyle. Landing at Kayak Adventures in 2002, we quickly realized how much we loved sharing this natural playground with others. That winter we purchased the business, and decided to make Seward our home. We lived in the tiny kayak shop for five summers... sharing the space with many guides, customers, dogs, etc. In 2007, we decided it was time to find our own space. And so we found this log home! It needed lots of work, but was well-built and spoke to us immediately. In June 2007, we moved in and began running it as a B&B. In 2015, we transitioned to offering the home as a vacation rental.

Come stay at the lodge, and in an instant you'll know why we purchased this log home. The quality and beauty of construction, the feeling of warmth and home, the space and light, the deck and hot tub, the location... the list goes on and on. We knew this was the property for us the minute we walked through the door in 2007. We bought the house with the intention of sharing it with others, and it's truly perfect for traveling groups.
