Luxury Fish Camp in Central/East Texas

Hosted by Andy and Tracy. We live and work in Dallas in architecture and consulting. We purchased Fairfield in 2015 as a retreat from the city to get back to nature. Now we want to extend our getaway to new friends for lasting memories.

Fairfield has beautiful rolling pastures, stands of pines and oaks. Wildlife is abundant along our creek and in the evenings the deer roam the fields. Diverse water fowl find refuse on the lake and on occasion a bald eagle enjoys his daily catch on the shoreline. This is a great hiking and fishing experience. For the culinary crowd, the kitchen is a cook's dream. In the cooler temps there is a large fire pit on the top of the hill for gathering and telling stories of the day. Sunsets are spectacular. The home is equipped with luxury linens for a good nights sleep and fluffy towels after a long hot shower. For those evenings when you want to stay in, smart tvs in the house are available. The upstairs bunk room has its own sectional sofa and large screen for piling up with popcorn for movie nights. The porch is 100' long with relaxing chairs - perfect with a cool drink and a book. The town of Fairfield offers a great pizza kitchen, BBQ and Mexican food with delicious margaritas. The fairgrounds are only a few minutes away and during season, the weekend rodeos are a blast. For the antique shoppers, there are super cute stores on the town square. Brookshire's is only a few minutes away and has pretty much everything you need for a comfortable stay and selection of ingredients for your home made meal.

Our 12 acre lake is a professionally managed bass fishing location with a catch and release program. The fish are abundant. Bait and tackle stores are close by. This is a wonderful family and friend retreat.
