Perfect!

Everything was perfect for a long weekend of skiing for my daughter and I! The condo was a great fit for us… truly ski in/ski out (about a 5 minute walk and you’re on a trail at Snowshoe), communication with the owner was great, check-in and check-out very easy, everything was super clean. Would rent again the next trip to Snowshoe!

The reason it got a not so great rating for cleanliness is the cleaning person never made it to the property because of the snow. However our group did with no problem so it was a bit unclear as to why they couldn’t make it there all day.

Clean, Comfortable, Convenient

If you have kids, the queen bunk bed setup is superior to the bed + futon arrangement at most other condos. The unit is on the 2nd level at the end of the building. The space was very clean, and had a nice layout. There was an issue with a couple of appliances, and the property manager communicated well, and did the best they could to rectify the situation in the short time we had. Powder Ridge Trail and lift is conveniently located less than a 10min walk from the unit. We would recommend to others and would stay here again.

VRBO LISTING INACCURATE!!!!

We spent considerable time and money on this vacation. The listing was for a 1 bedroom and the VBRO statement notes this. I have a screen shot of the posting. In fact, the icon for 1 bedroom shows a door next to the icon. A 1 bedroom is classified has having 4 walls and a door! It was a STUDIO. We had 2 small children and had no private room to put them in. When we finally got them to sleep, we had to tiptoe all night not to wake them. The floors above squeak horribly when those above us walk. Besides the footsteps, we could hear the TV and talking from other units through the night. We found half used water bottles in the bedding, and the floors made the bottoms of the children's feet black. Blinds were broken and there was no safety latch on the front door. When I contacted the host, all he said was he has 5 star reviews but I wonder how this is possible Very suspect reviews and I wonder if the bad reviews are bring removed. Initially, when I asked if the bathroom was in the bedroom, he said no. So obviously, he knew I was going on the 1 bedroom posting. We were deliberately misled and as it was a holiday weekend, there of course was no other options - as we would have just tried to get a hotel room since this situation was unbearable! I believe I deserve some sort of monetary refund! VRBO can not be trusted that those posting are leaving legitimate descriptions. My family and I and everyone I meet will never use VRBO again as a source.

We take great pride in the quality and experience our guests have in our properties. Unfortunately, it was not reciprocated by Lori with her false accusations, property damage and 500+ repeat messages over 3 months leading up to and during the event. Given all other 50 reservations before and after Lori were five stars, I'll let other guests make their own conclusions here.

I’m originally from Northern Virginia, but went to Virginia Tech and fell in love with outdoors and way of life in Southwest Virginia. Being and engineer, I’m on the road quite a bit. One thing that keeps me going is looking forward to outdoor seasonal activities year round - snowboarding, wakeboarding, surfing and hiking. Of course, you’ve got to be at the right mountain, resort or beach. No better way to enhance those activities than with great company and comfortable accommodations.
