Cozy Victorian in the Center of downtown Morganton (Dog Friendly!)

Right in the center of Downtown Morganton! Located between two of Morganton's fine breweries. Dining, shopping, grocery, pharmacy, & entertainment all within walking distance. This Victorian era 1901 home features four sided fireplace as the center piece, has been remodeled while keeping as much of the original charm as possible. Enjoy a large master bedroom and brand new kitchen! The large front porch allows you to enjoy the liveliness of the town without leaving the house. Dog and toddler friendly!

The spacious master bedroom features a king bed, 50" LED TV, fireplace and a private bathroom with double vanity sink and claw foot tub/shower. PLEASE NOTE: Both bathrooms feature claw foot tubs/showers that can be difficult to access for some guests. Please consider this when booking.

The guest bedroom features a full bed with a 42" TV and Nintendo 64 with retro games!!! The home is fitted with some toddler friendly features such as cabinet locks, plug covers and corner edge guards. A pack-n-play is available for use and stored under the guest bed.

Open concept living room / kitchen featuring bar seating, two fireplaces and a 50" LED TV.

Full kitchen includes an air fryer / toaster oven, Keurig, full cookware set, dining set for up to eight people. Assorted herbs and seasonings are also available. Growlers are also provided for each of Morganton's breweries in case you want to take a tasty treat back for the evening.

A large front porch to sit back and enjoy the liveliness of the town without leaving the house. Relax and listen to the music and bustle from the local breweries and town square.

Week of relaxation

My son had camp in Morganton (we live too far to drive daily) and we really loved having ample space and ability to cook every day. Very clean and easy to walk downtown. We would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing retreat

This home is meticulously curated. The decor and style add the charm to this older homes character. The four sided fireplace is so unique. Clean and everything functions. Well stocked kitchen supplies. Bed was so comfy. Easy parking. So close to walk to all the great stuff downtown has to offer Host was so helpful and responded with any of our questions or issues. Will definitely come back if there are openings. Loved it!!

Spacious and convenient

The property was very cute, with a distinct personality! Worked very well for walking downtown, easy to meet up with family all over town, and had plenty of space for us to unwind when we needed a rest.

We've lived in Morganton since 2018 and have loved every minute of it! I'm a supply chain manager from Asheville NC. Tom is an engineer beginning to dabble in real estate and I’m from Denver NC. Please reach out if you’re in real estate as well! We are both alumni from NC State University. We just had our first little one, Maverick, and our hands have been full ever since!

We bought this house in 2021. Mackenzie said she always wanted a Victorian era home, I said that’s crazy you’ll never find one we can afford and that could make money and looks like she proved me wrong! When we originally purchased the house it was one big shell. One bathroom, no bedrooms and no kitchen! After over a year of hardwork and saving every penny we could, we're happy to present to you this stay! We hope you enjoy every minute of it and if there is anything you feel we could improve on please let us know!
