Great Place

Great location within 5-10 minutes of everything in Soldotna. Great layout where you should never feel crowded. Very clean and properly equipped with the little things. Only hesitancy leaving a great review was I want to make sure the house is available when we return!

Great location, easy to find. It was clean and had a few extra things like fishing poles, freezer to store fish, rain jacket etc. Washing machine and dryer also helped. Thanks for the great stay.

4 bedroom just what we needed, excellent place to stay. Suggestions (not a complaint): luggage racks in the rooms…people won’t be tempted to put suitcase on the furniture. Shower bar in master to help older folks in and out.

Excellent Soldotna, AK VRBO!

While we only stayed for one night, we were loving the spacious home that more than accommodated our 7 people staying there. Easy to get to, space inside and out to rest and relax, a chest freezer for fish was the BOMB, and they had other things guests could use like hiking gear and so on. There was a vehicle allowed for use with the property too!! A ver nice VW Atalas. We did not need to use it give our short stay, but what an option to rent it!!

Born and raised in Slovakia! I came to Alaska as an au-pair in 2003 and fell in love with the American Dream. I work full-time for a local Community Health Center. I absolutely love walks on our beaches, Homer, Kenai, Kasilof, Nikiski...you name it. Hiking, fishing, 4-wheeling, snowmachining - there is no bad weather in Alaska. I love sharing The Alaska Experience with others, and sharing my home is an easy way to do.

Why they chose this property

I originally purchased my house because of its convenient location to schools. My kids were in elementary school, and were able to bike to their school, park, go visit their friends. Our neighborhood was and still is family friendly safe. At one point we had 5 law enforcement families living on our "loop". To this day, I don't lock my car, and my stays mostly unlocked as well

What makes this property unique

My house is very spacious, open concept, with 4 good sized bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms. It has a fenced yard, where your little ones can play safely. The house is walking distance (10-15 min) from Khaladi Brothers, the Kenai River, parks. Our neighborhood is connected with sidewalks; you can easily walk safely few miles radius. Currently I have extra freezer in the garage, and if you are a really passionate fisherman, I can always add more freezers, or other necessary storage place.
