Welcome to The Hoopa Hangout at Big Trees Village!!!

We're here to deliver 5-star experiences. We bought our cabin in Nov of 2021 and are constantly making updates. Most recently, a ChargePoint HomeFlex Level 2 EV charger was added to our garage. Avoid worrying about whether or not the charging points in Arnold will be working and book with The Hoopa Hangout.

Many properties in this area are managed by large property management companies that deliver a lackluster guest experience. We're family-owned and managed, with a focus on service and responsiveness throughout your booking and stay. The Hoopa Hangout is a spacious mountain modern property that features 4 Bedroom/3 Bath 2,300 Sq Ft floor plan with 2 car garage, a LARGE LEVEL driveway with plenty of stress-free parking and snow removal service in the winter, hot tub, and access to Big Trees Recreation Area .7 miles away (Rec Center open Memorial Day through Labor Day).

Conveniently located and just minutes from Lake Alpine, Spicer Reservoir, the Stanislaus River, Calaveras Big Trees State Park, Bear Valley Ski Resort, and the wine-tasting town of Murphys.

This family-friendly cabin offers an open floor plan that has been newly furnished, & features high-quality amenities. Xfinity wifi, sit/stand desk, and 32" external monitor makes it easy to work from "home" at The Hoopa Hangout.

The Hoopa Hangout can comfortably host a maximum of 11 all sleeping in beds. Ideal for 6 ADULTS and 5 CHILDREN.

Due to family allergies, we are NOT pet-friendly.

CHILD FRIENDLY
This home is child-friendly and includes an amazing array of kid gear: a TV area with entertainment and games, baby necessities such as a Pack n Play, diaper, strap-on high chair or booster seat, baby gate, kids plates, bowls, utensils, and various toys for a variety of ages. All of the kid gear is organized and tucked away so guests traveling without children are comfortable as well.

POOL
Summer stays include access to the neighborhood shared pool at Big Trees Village Recreation Center (pool open various days & hours between Memorial Day and Labor Day) - approximately a 1-minute drive away from the Hoopa Hangout

The entire home is accessible, with the exception of one closet on the lower floor. Each bedroom has an accessible closet & dresser for guest use.

The 2 car garage is also fully accessible & available for use by guests.

Want to stay longer and extend your vacation? Flex-Check-In & Flex-Check-Out are available if the schedule allows for $100/each and give guests the option to check-in anytime after 10 am or check out anytime before 5 pm. 1 hour complimentary if schedule allows.
