What a wonderful home for a large family to spend their vacation

The age difference between our grandchildren is significant, but all found plenty of things to do. Between the pool, bean toss, hot tub and just sitting around the fire pit and making s’mores, all of us throughly enjoyed our stay. The owners were very responsive when we had user error with the sauna. There are so many different areas in the house that if anyone did want some alone quiet time they were able to find it. The dining room is so big all 16 of us were able to sit down and enjoy our meals together. We’re very glad we chose this lodge for our stay!

Fabulous venue

This was an absolutely perfect venue for our large family of 21. This house was MUCH better than the pictures. Lots of nice amenities and extra touches. Fun things to do for ALL ages.

Amazing gathering

The property itself was amazing, excellent amenities and communication with owner. The only downside is it’s not that conveniently located near Traverse city and trying to coordinate Lyft and Uber was difficult, but to no fault of owner.

Perfect Getaway!

Everyone who stayed absolutely loved it! The pool was a huge hit. It was surprisingly warm, considering it was only mid June in northern Michigan. So many things for the kids to do inside and outside! The huge gathering space off of the kitchen was perfect. Plenty of fridge space for all of the food and drinks, and all of the beds were very comfortable.

A perfect spot for up north getaway!

We had a 11 person group stay here for a trip up north to go skiing at Crystal and celebrate my 30th bday. We enjoyed every inch of the property and wished we could’ve stayed longer! It would be a great property to enjoy in the summer for the pool. The LA lodge had everything we needed. They even shipped me some personal belongings I accidentally left behind. Thanks LA lodge!

Perfect place to celebrate with a big group!

5 families stayed for the weekend to celebrate a birthday. 10 adults and 12 kids fit great with room to spare. Plenty to do to keep everyone entertained, space for everyone to spread out or hang out to stay together. we loved the huge eating space, hot tub, sauna, cold plunge, fire pit, games and game rooms! Beds were all comfortable, house was cozy and inviting. Would highly recommend for groups that just want to hang out together and enjoy what the house has to offer!

Wonderful for our Book Club!

Me and a group of girls came up for a book club retreat and we absolutely loved this property! We hosted our group in the large dining room and had plenty of beds to choose from! The hot tub & sauna were a HUGE plus that we really enjoyed using! The leg massagers were also an added plus! The hosts were quick to respond with questions and recommendations of the area. They had all the tvs set with moody fireplaces, a sweet welcome note, & a little welcome basket of candy & snacks for us! I highly recommend booking this beautiful home & we hope to come back in the future!

Great property with something for everyone. Game and play room in the basement and pool, sauna, and hot tub for the rest. The kitchen was well stocked and the showers upstairs are all easily accessible.

Overall the home is very nice and we enjoyed the swimming pool a lot.. Just if thay have more bathrooms.. also the bunk beds are noisy and not comfortable.
