Warm and cozy getaway on South Shore near Walloon Lake Village. Welcome to Trillium ridge. This is one super charming Walloon Lake view cottage in a storybook setting. The perfect balance of a getaway with serenity and close access to fun!
This home features a full furnished kitchen with large island, which opens up into the living room that includes a gas fireplace with the lush Northern Michigan woods as a backdrop. -On the main floor is a Queen master Suite bedroom with a comfy seating area and attached bathroom. -The stunning spiral staircase will lead you upstairs to a Queen master bedroom that has a gas fireplace and attached bathroom. -Small 3rd bedroom upstairs. -Dedicated workspace has a nice view of Walloon Lake. -Washer and dryer with storage area on main floor.
Enjoy the day from coffee to cocktails on the private covered porch with a large back deck. The yard has gorgeous landscaping, a truly peaceful setting with views of Walloon Lake.
This cottage is 1/4 mile away from historic Walloon Lake Village which does have a 4 restaurants, an awesome general store, skating rink, public beach and boat launch. Just down the road from some of the best ski resorts, beach’s and golf courses Northern Michigan has to offer. 10/15 minutes to Petoskey and Boyne City, which both have a wonderful dining scene and lovely downtown. Boyne Mountain for the skybridge, zip line golf, water park and winter sports. Wineries and breweries, many beaches and trails to explore all so close by.
Central air for the summer. Well stocked kitchen with dishwasher, hot water tap and gas oven. Weber gas grill for a night on the deck. WiFi is available. Home has had recent updates. *We DO NOT allow pets of any kind, strict no pet allowed. *NO smoking policy. *5 people maximum occupancy. *Parking for 2 cars only. Parking area cannot accommodate boat or snowmobile trailer parking. *Outdoor security cameras on porch and driveway. Plenty of parking for no more than 2 vehicles. No Pets. 5 people max.
Do not use gas grill under covered porch.
The wood floors are brand new please, do not roll or drag items on floors, be especially mindful of luggage and ski items.

Beautiful home! Ideal for a weekend getaway in Northern Michigan. We loved the gas fireplaces and enjoyed doing puzzles. We had everything we needed with the full kitchen, wifi, streaming TV, two bathrooms with showers, plus easy parking spot. Location is ideal, right off 131 for easy travel north and south to other day trip locations. Would highly recommend!!

Amy welcomed us by a note sitting on the counter. Extremely clean, well decorated and organized. Beautiful setting and great view of woods from master suite. Communication was easy! Would highly recommended!

Winter Break Getaway

This cottage is fresh, clean, and had everything for a ski trip. It’s a very short drive to Boyne Mountain, Boyne City, and Petoskey. The host, Amy, communicated well and ensured we had what we needed. She even messaged me ahead of our visit to let me know that Boyne was only selling a limited number of lift tickets over the holidays, as she didn’t want us to miss out. Overall, we had a great stay here with no complaints and would stay here again.

The Perfect Stay!

We had the perfect stay at this cozy, comfortable, spacious home in Walloon Lake. The house was decorated for the fall season inside and out! We so enjoyed morning coffee on the wraparound porch surrounded by the changing autumn leaves. This lovely three bedroom, two bath house was the ideal size for my family of four. Filled with the hominess of fireplaces, comfy beds, TV's everywhere, laundry, floor to ceiling windows, extremely clean and full of any amenities you may have left at home! Lastly, you couldn't ask for a better Host, any questions or concerns were always responded to promptly and we were welcomed with a kind note upon our arrival. We will definitely stay here again!
