The cottage is equipped with an Eguna solar battery-powered generator that automatically switches on in the event of a power outage. This is one of the very few cottages with a generator at La Casa. The generator will keep several lights, outlets, the refrigerator, and microwave on for up to 72 hours, depending on how much power the generator has stored before the outage. It will then determine how long the generator will stay on.
As the primary renter, please ensure that any cottage toys provided are suitable for infants and young children. If they aren’t appropriate, we kindly ask that you store them in a closed closet for safety.
The cottage has linens, towels, bedding, and a fully stocked kitchen, providing all the essentials for a relaxing stay. Just bring your food, drinks, and special items!

The Okanagan region is a treasure trove of experiences, featuring numerous wineries, orchards, breweries, and cheese factories waiting to be explored. For winter enthusiasts, the surrounding areas offer ski resorts and snowshoeing opportunities, while warmer months invite visitors to enjoy horse riding and hiking trails. Golf lovers will be pleased to find stunning golf courses just 30 to 40 minutes from the resort.
The resort rents out seasonal kayaks, e-bikes, golf carts, lake floaties, life jackets, and paddleboards, provides side-by-side adventures, and offers boat rentals. Please enquire ahead of time to check for availability.
During the warmer seasons, a resort taxi pontoon provides scenic rides across the lake to wineries on the opposite shore. Additionally, various tour companies offer convenient pickups from the resorts, allowing guests to explore the diverse wineries in Kelowna.

The cottage features a Ring doorbell camera positioned to the right of the main entrance, which monitors the landing area and captures both motion and sound. Additionally, there is a video camera located to the left of the garage door that oversees the parking area in front of the garage, also recording motion. It’s important to note that both cameras are on the exterior; there are no cameras installed inside the cottage. To enter the cottage, guests must navigate several stairs, and internal stairs are required to reach the second floor.

Please note that the contents and colours of the pictures may occasionally change, as Jasmine Cottage is continuously being updated to enhance our guests' experience. Sometimes, items may suffer damage or wear and tear and will be replaced as quickly as possible. However, these replacements might alter in size or appearance before the arrival of new guests.

On the day of a guest's arrival, we conduct thorough cleaning checklists and take post-cleaning photos and videos to ensure that the cottage is presented impeccably and that everything is in proper working order.
La Casa has recently completed the construction of a new water treatment plant. With this latest fully operational addition, we have implemented a water quality advisory, which is standard for new water treatment plants. For more information, please refer to the welcome folder provided. In the cottage, guests will find a large water cooler with a five gallon fresh water bottle and a 27-cup Brita filter water dispenser for their convenience.
The proprietors shall not be held liable for any personal injuries or damages incurred by travelers, as well as any losses or damages to their belongings or vehicles, during their stay. No personal deliveries or mail to be sent to the cottage.
Staying next to a provincial park means we sometimes get bugs entering the cottage. The best way to prevent this is to keep the doors closed. Additionally, there is a variety of wildlife around the resort and the surrounding park area, so it’s essential to stay alert and respectful of nature while enjoying your time at La Casa.
There are no EV chargers at the resort or cottage. Please be aware of this and charge your EV in Vernon or West Kelowna (or other Okanagan locations) before arrival. There is an outside outlet at the cottage, but it is only 120 volts, so charging will be slow (you will need your own cord and charger). Please indicate whether you will be using the 120-volt outlet, as there will be a small fee for charging use.
Guest registration is required for all guests.
