Stay in one of Palm Springs' most iconic and stylish mid-century townhomes - featured on the Modernism Week tour! Built in 1961 by celebrated architect, Barry Berkus, Merito Manor is one of the best examples of Palm Springs design and earned historic designation in 2019. The property is located in Palm Springs’ most desirable neighborhood, Las Palmas, and only steps away from the best restaurants and shopping in downtown Palm Springs on Palm Canyon Boulevard.

Enjoy panoramic views of the mountains and palm trees from every room. Appreciate the sophisticated design and eclectic art while gathering around one of the many conversation areas. Relax in a large private patio that connects directly to the sparkling pool shared by only a handful of owners. There are two full bedrooms each with a California king bed, two full bathrooms, and multi-purpose bonus room that serves as a TV-viewing den or another bedroom with pull-out sectional sofa.

Available for minimum 28 day rentals only.
Please note the Pool is not heated before February 1st each year, and we have offered you a Special Non-Heated Pool rate for those time periods.
There are no window coverings in the living room, primary bedroom and TV room.

Las Palmas condo

Wonderful Las Palmas property. My husband and I stayed for 30 days. Bright spacious comfortable mid century modern designed and furnished and full of light. Steps to community pool from lovely patio. Quiet small residential complex. Close to design district, many restaurants and downtown. Great walking location. Enjoyed morning and afternoon walks into Las Palmas residential neighborhoods. A quiet and peaceful desert stay.

Portia, the property manager, was excellent. Portia met me, oriented me to the kitchen appliances, Siri, the lighting, door locks, etc. She noticed the propane tank to the patio fireplace was empty and made a special trip to get a full replacement tank and showed me how to safely turn it on and off. She had made a very detailed instruction book re the furnace controls, restaurants, check in and out which was very helpful. When the pool gate lock was replaced and did not work she made calls to the HOA president and owner to fix the gate lock and obtain a key for me so I could open and lock the gate safely and securely. I wish every VRBO had a property manager like Portia

Great location, great place!

My wife, son, and I spent a month at this property and had a fantastic time! It is centrally located to all that downtown Palm Springs has to offer. The hosts were communicative when necessary and made the process very easy. Would 10/10 recommend!
