Elite Mountaintop Cabin - 2 Decks, Fire Pit, Loft & Pups!

The power went out during their stay as it often times does in Munds Park (we state this in multiple places that the infrastructure is unstable and it is a risk of staying here). It was out for a handful of hours. During that time our property manager came up to ensure they had flashlights, batteries, etc in case it got dark before the power came on, which it did not. They were anxious because they needed power for multiple personal and medical issues and we were willing to provide the generator in case it came to that, again… which it did not. I spent multiple times per day prior to their checkin and throughout their trip responding to messages immediately. The amount of messages was vastly more than any guest I have ever encountered in our three years of owning this cabin. It became overwhelming and unnecessary. Travel in any capacity is a risk, but especially in a small mountain town with limited resources, the likelihood of a power outage or internet failure is high especially during the storm season of September/ October. They were simply not prepared for the realities of what this small charming town brings, even though we make every effort to inform prior to booking. It’s unfortunate that their lack of preparedness & understanding of our listing and this town has lowered our otherwise sparking rating of this amazing little cabin. Please take this review with a grain of salt as we went above and beyond to try to accommodate this guests particular needs.
