We enjoyed our stay, the home was clean and definitely was comfortable for my family to stay at during our time in the area. Close to both Flagstaff and Sedona so that shopping and hiking were easy to get to. Had a great time and hope to stay again in the future.

Nice place for our family. Not having central air would have bothered us more if it was any hotter. You kind of need to keep the bedroom doors open to circulate the cool air. The window unit is very loud, but did cool the place. Very convenient location for Sedona & Flagstaff, but you do have a little drive to grocery/restaurants in Flagstaff. Quiet area, comfy beds. Clean and did have kitchen supplies, towels, etc. I was able to get Walmart delivery from Flagstaff.

Cabin was nicely laid out. Plenty of room. Living room and dining room furniture needs to be updated. Bathrooms could use some maintenance with towel racks and shower door adjustments. Outside firepit would not light.

Our Arizona trip

This place was perfect. We originally picked the area because it was pretty close to the Grand Canyon railway and Sedona. What a nice surprise when we opened the door and everything was just as pictured, actually even better. Fully loaded with anything you could need. Even a full-size washer and dryer! Eric was a perfect host, always responding within minutes of me texting him. We will definitely stay here again if we go back. Thank you, Eric.

Quiet neighborhood & good location

We arrived in the dead of night with snow falling, but getting inside was easy thanks to a motion light and code. It was cold! But the house warmed up quickly. The rustic interior was homey and we appreciated the board games. The neighborhood is quiet with easy freeway access. Perfect base for our trips to the Grand Canyon, Sedona & Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff. The only difficulty we had was finding which light switch turned on what light, and we made it a game. Thank you for your hospitality and thinking ahead to provide needed items like snow shovel, ice melt, and pantry essentials.

This property was nice and spacious for my husband and I. Our son and his family live in Munds Park so the location was perfect. We enjoyed the deck each morning and evening. The wall unit air conditioner was nice to keep things cool during the hot afternoons. Not all windows opened easily or had screens so a bit hard to fling open the windows and let the air flow through. There was limited baking dishes for a weeks stay, but we made do. When we arrived, there were drip spots on the floor. I wiped them up and it appeared the floor had not been mopped, which seemed strange since someone had just rented the place that weekend. I also felt the sheets need to be replaced. Sleeping while on vacation is important and the sheets were worn and balled. This is an easy fix that would make a big impression on guests. Also, lots of spiderwebs, which are hard to keep at bay, however, a quick wipe on the light fixtures, windows and corners would help. There were trash bags, dishwashing liquid and pods for the dish washer along with detergent for the washing machine. Plenty of towels and linens in baths and kitchen. Some small improvements would make Chateau Oak 5 star! We enjoyed and will rent again when we come out for another visit.

Hello and thank you for checking out my listing. My name is Eric and I am a seasoned Real Estate professional dating back to 2004... I recently bought the cabin to provide a snowboarding get away for my son. I have since listed it on VRBO to give others the same chance to experience N. Arizona and the pine trees and natural beauty. I also own a full scale production company which allows me plenty of free time to rent this space.
